I would recommend reserving a camping spot also if you are using a tent or trailer. The campgrounds tend to fill up quickly

Did the group decide on the official campground due to wanting power, shower, and amenities or more due to not sure about camping sites closer to the trails?

There's power, shower, and amenities? Camping close to trails? Did I miss something? Isn't this the getaway for under water basket weaving class?

On the list.

Sweet, almost 6 months away and already almost 20 people. This is getting exciting.

Sweet! Libation Station contributions are always welcome! At Miller Jeep Trail last month, I brought 4 bottles and sandiegojeepin brought 1 bottle, and between the 8 or 9 of us who were drinking, we finished off all 5 bottles plus a bunch of beer. And that was just for one night. Here we've got two nights of partying and a bunch more party people!

Yah even for the tent sites, if you're pretty sure you're going, I'd say go ahead an reserve one close to the cabins so we can all be close together.

I know this is gonna go completely the wrong way but here we go, who has access to wood? Wood always seems to be the expensive part of camping cause the bundles of five are like seven bucks a piece. So if we handle that now would be good

I will be bringing some firewood. I'm looking at getting a cord or so here shortly for the house. I'll just make sure some of that wood falls into the gear for the trip

If we have 20 people buying a half cord might not be a bad idea? I mean what that works out to less then like 5 dollars a person and we can have as many fires as we want or need? Thoughts suggestions?

20x 5 = 200(I know math isn't Turds forte)
I think last time I checked a full cord was 175 at the place we go, then it's just a matter of hauling it

Rofl- actually it's not bad if you buy bulk, but buy it camping and all of sudden it will get to be like 20-30 bucks a campfire per night

I'll look into it again, but the place we went was 175 I thought, and they deliver it and stack it, maybe I can hook you up. My buddy who does it every year lives in the valley here so we will see, even so a half cord would be enough I think don't you?
