Yea I've thought about dropping out of the high desert to get wood. When I've been down there I've noticed the wood was a lot cheaper. Trouble is I would spend in gas what I would save with the wood.

That price is for all hard wood too. You can get pine cheaper.

If we buy wood in bulk though, how's it all gonna get to camp? In the past what we've done is everyone brings one or two bundles of wood (or equivalent). With a big group, that's more than enough wood for two nights of campfire.

Ship it ahead of time! LOL, I think you can be exempt from having to pitch in for wood.

BTW, I don't know about in Idaho, but in LA a girl bragging about her wood being big sometimes isn't a joke. (I heard. )

If someone is trailering their rig I will pay them $5 to haul my wood for me. Or I could grab a few logs just to keep my cooler in place for the drive.

I"m not trailer my rig... but was going to bring my trailer to haul my gear in, its not an off road trailer but it will get to the camp area just fine. I know that isn't going to help most of you as ya'll are coming from the coast areas and I'm heading in from north of Calico.

If you are reading this gibberish and wanting to go, that is cause you are a freak. Welcome to the club, Baby Momma.

If you get some extra wood I will throw you some cash. I don't want to haul my trailer 6 hrs just for wood. Got a cabin so that freed the jeep up a bit. We'll see if I need to squeeze buggs behind the back seat for the drive out. Lol

So many people will see you pulling up! Can't hide from that, and you would hear about it non-stop on wf.
