I'm also new here and would love to go to this. I'm down for whatever. Will I be able to bring an RV to the campsite?

I am not sure about the Cougar Buttes site but the trails look like a lot of fun.

Count me in for this meet and greet too. I am going to stay completely neutral on the destination though. I have been to Calico before, but that was back when my dad's TJ was completely stock and we were both wishing that we were able to do the other trails there. They looked awesome. I haven't been to the other place, but it looks fun too. Either way my Jeep gets dirty, I get to hang, get drunk and shoot the shit with you guys at the after party, so I don't care.

Who do we have here who knows the trails at Johnson Valley? I've never been there. If we do Cougar Buttes, we'll need someone to lead us through the Bullfrog trail, and someone else to lead some other moderate trail.

The way most of us are maybe we should just get a shuttle bus and make it easier.

While I'd be happy to go on that trip, don't look at me to lead it. I've been to JV a half-dozen times but someone else was always leading and I was always too nervous on the trails to pay attention to where we were going haha. I've never done Bullfrog myself but would be up for doing it.

Anyone else able to lead trail runs in Johnson Valley, preferably the Bullfrog trail and some other moderate/difficult trail? We still have plenty of time to find trail leaders, but if they're not to be found, then that could seal the deal for Calico.

Maybe Jerry can talk Blaine into going.

I believe he's been there a time or two....
