On the list. And welcome to the Forum.

For the new members adding, will you be camping or planning on just a day run? If camping, reservation info is on the first posting so that you may make sure you have a space reserved.

Count me in!!
New to this site and super happy to see people so involved! I am somewhat new to off roading as I got my jeep about 6 months ago & there aren't much placed where I live to go out and do that. + I've been dying to go camping!
I didt read through everything but where are we doing this?
Also my jeep is somewhat stock(needs to be lifted). Might have it lifted by the time this comes around but just to make sure - are stock keeps safe for where we're going?
I'll put a pic up of my baby.

You can join me on the bunny trails. The first post in this thread has all the info of where and a link to reserve your campsite.

I'm bringing my wife, kids will be with their Grandma. I have a 3 yo and 7 mo.

I wouldn't suggest bringing the 18 mo old unless you're leaving him/her with the wife when you go on the off road run. I tried bringing my 3 yo on a fire road, really tame road with no obstacles. After about 30 minutes, he got sick at vomited all over the back seat and floor. So I'll probably try again when he's closer to 5 (and make sure I have a bag ready )

I also mentioned bringing my 7 mo along on the same fire road, one of my friends said not to because if it's too bumpy they can get shaken baby syndrome.

Any kids are welcome on any run we organize. We all love kids... Espcially with ketchup. Or A-1 Sauce. Mmmmmm....

In all honesty, we try to keep the meet and greets as family friendly as the forum. Very young ones may not be up to the wheeling experience as stated by Rick above, but if you wish to bring them along, we will do our best to make sure everyone is comfortable and happy.

I just wanted to remind everyone of the rules of our Meet and Greets. They are few and simple...

1. All rigs must have recovery points front and rear
2. All rigs must have a fire extinguisher within easy reach of driver or bystanders
3. All rigs must have a first aid kit.
4. NO DRINKING AT ALL ON THE TRAILS!!!! This rule will be followed or you will be asked to leave!!! This includes passengers. Leave the party for the campsite. All is fair game there.
5. Have a CB radio for communication on the trails

Besides that, we are a really friendly and great group to run with. Many of the members signed up are repeat members who can vouch for the great time to be had at the meets that we have. If there is any concern with any of the rules, please feel free to contact me and I will be more than happy to answer any and all questions.

Jeff

There's one more thing to buy before the trip. I never thought I would catch fire on a trail, figured that was a yj or carb'd engine that it happens to? Unless its for the bonfire when people start pouring gas in it.

YJs don't burn, they just simmer...

Hey turd, or anyone else, I am trying to put a recovery point on the back end of my TJ, the only ways it is telling me I can do is A get a whole new bumper, B drill into the frame and make own, or C putting a tow hitch on but the regular bumper is not setup for that either so again your drilling.

Ideas or is the 4x4 wrong in my options? Thoughts suggestions? Thanks

I don't know for certain, but I believe that there are pre drilled holes on the TJ that you can put recovery hooks onto. Hopefully someone with a TJ will chime in with more definate info for you.

Its been awhile since I had either of my stock bumpers on so I had to go look, but only the front had tow hooks. Mine did have a Mopar tow hitch (smaller diameter reciever) That mounted to factory bolts, but no back hooks. I think you would have to drill, use a tow hitch or get an aftermarket bumber.
