Hey Jeff, you might want to put this link on the first post, now that it's official that we're going to Calico.

Incidentally, my informal CB antenna clinic will be open as needed while we're out there. Primarily Saturday afternoon until the libations have taken too much effect. We should be able to figure out most antenna issues or tune any that need it. Might be able to look at CBs themselves for wiring issues if we have time but antennas will be the focus.

Just got my new CB and Firestik hooked up. Did ok without tuning and worked through Big Bear but I am sure it can be better. I might still go buy a SWR (?) in the interim. Not sure what I'd do with it- but that's what it says to do on the destructions.

Don't go buy one of those things as many of us have them and you can use them and we can also help out.

Sounds like a plan. I couldn't really test it much so this will be perfect. Nor do I know how. ("Can you hear me now?")
I am assuming I should bring the cinnamon fire whiskey that someone left at the last M & G. Can't imagine why no one drank whiskey fireballs.

If I remember to bring my SWR meter, I'll only charge half what Jerry's charging.

You guys should only be allowed to drink the Honey with the rest of us down at the Libation Station.

I admit I had never tried the Honey Jack until a few weeks ago.

We went to a Christmas party I was dreading, so I stopped and bought a bottle to try...........try isn't a good word. I drank half the bottle

I just poured it over ice and had a great time at the party, I had to hide the bottle because everyone kept trying it and they liked it too.

I think I'll need to contribute two bottles to the Libation Station........just in case

There were lots of contributions to the Libation Station last year. Let's see if we can top it this year.

I currently have 8 bottles of Tennessee Honey in stock. I found a good deal ($14/bottle), and that's when I stock up. I won't be bringing Grand Marnier this time. It tastes good but costs more than twice as much as the Honey.

Sheesh, we have so many new folks on this upcoming M&G that we should think about peel & stick name tags with our names written on them with a felt-tip pin. I'll be lucky at my age to remember 3-4 names.

Got it under control Jerry. Name tags:
"HI, my name is ___ My forum name is_____ ". With a check box for "Square, JK, CJ, TJ".
You only struggle to remember names because the Turdhurdler gives you Everclear.

I didn't exactly give it to him. I coaxed him into drinking it.

Don't worry Jerry, I wont do that to ya again.

Agree with this. Someone brought name tags to the snow run (around 20 Jeeps). It was really helpful.
