Hey trail leaders or Jeff:
At some point Can we clarify- 10 am start time- aired down or not? And possibly meetings points for each run? If we have 50 Jeeps leaving at the same time we don't want it to be from the same place. Traffic jam in Calico.
I apologize in advance. I have a disease brought on by my last job- overthinkustoomuchus combined with organizational compulsive disorder (OCD). Don't worry though- I promise not to make a flow chart.

Not to mention that each group is going to share the first 1/4 mile of trail ... so the trail-head just off of Ghost Town Rd probably won't work so well

I'm not sure that having the meeting points be camp will work either ... probably will get pretty congested ... and not everyone is staying on site ... so they will have to pay to enter the Ghost Town

Staggered start. 15 min intervals. Longest run goes first, shortest goes last. Bet Jeff already has a plan. This ain't his first Turdfest!

The run leaders are currently working out the details with Jeff. I think we're going to have chips implanted into everyone's skull when they arrive at camp, then via electric shock we'll buzz you when it's time to roll. No but seriously, we should have the details up soon.

Ok gang, I have been given a pretty good schedule of potential run times by Armond and will post up in a day or so. Things are looking to shape up into a great event.

I still need a couple more volunteers to assist as mid or tail gun on the trails. If you wish to volunteer, please be familiar with spotting, wheeling, and have a CB and basic recovery gear, a winch being better if possible.

Jeff

Alright ladies and gentlemen, I have updated the first post with a trail schedule and added a couple more members for volunteers and to trail lists. We have 50 members still signed up for the event, but only 39 signed to trails. Both advanced groups # 1 and #3 are accepting up to 15 rigs each, group # 2 is open to as as many as needed, but hope to be about 15 also. Advanced Group #4 is the smallest at 2 members currently.

Please keep in mind your Jeeps mods when signing up for a group to make sure you are not in over your head. Our trail leaders are very experienced wheelers, but we don't want to work them too much.

If there is anyone I have left out, or have suggestions to make our event better, please don't hesistate to let me or one of the volunteers know. Thanks for your interest in this Turdhurdler Event!!!

Jeff

Looks great Geoff... my inner grammarian only says it needs to say 'Meet & Greet' or 'Meet 'n Greet'.

Hi Jeff, I was looking at the list on post one and noticed I was missing from the attendance list. Everything else for me should be good.

Unfortunately I was unsuccessful at selling the "implanted chip / electric shock" idea to Jeff and the other trail leaders.

Alright...I am pretty sure I will be a go for this. Talked to the wife, and assuming nothing unusual starts going on with the pregnancy I will be there with you all I will most likely book a spot this weekend.

How about putting a link to the campsite reservations in the first post, Jeff?

Hey I'm worried about the stampede of everyone wanting to join up with WOKNROX and I in Group 4 doing Stoddard Wells. But I'm sure we can accomodate a few more of you hardier souls if you have the intestinal fortitude. Make no mistake, they aren't beginner trails but with beefed up Currie-like steering, a locker or two, and 33-35" tires you'll be fine.

I was thinking the same thing Jerry. I am definitely eye balling this run with it being somewhere ive never wheeled. Also liking the way the smaller group looks.

What, Mister Moderator could not post it up??? Just kidding. I will find the link and add it. For some reason, I thought it was already there, haha.

I am actually wanting to take a look at that area... Might set me straight on the capabilities of the might YJ. I remember the First Meet n Greet when you gave me a tug or two on Anza. Good memories. Mabey I need to be tugged again?
