See you all at Calico.

If you guys need extra wood, I can probably bring some even though I am not camping, but staying at the Oak Tree Inn down the street.

Joe.

Ya Dan, finally bit the bullet. I figured it is time not to make my jeep and myself work too hard on getting over these obstacles. As you get older you want things to be easier with less hassle.

I went with the Eaton E locker.

I feel your pain Joe. Both dave and I have long distance dates with JPi. But the wait is well worth the hassle.

We packed firewood, I think Mike bundled about 20 good sized pieces up. I'll see if we can throw a few more in.
The wind has died down substantially from what we had last night and through the early morning hours here in Yermo /Calico ...it's turning into the start of another beautiful weekend for wheelin here in the Hi Dezert..

Nice Joe!

Like Dan said, you don't need it, but it will definitely make wheeling more fun!

Well my backup plan fell short so it looks like I'm sitting this one out...he has to be at the airport Saturday at 6pm, I even thought about coming up Friday wheeling Saturday and then getting him to the airport in SD by 6... a bit too sketchy for that one...lol

HI All!
I did get a form from JBTJ06 . Jeff- one more for your trail. I am trying to get out of the office so i won't be making any more changes to the Calico website after that. (Its on my PC at work).
I'll bring trail lists and name tags to each trail leader. If you don't want your name tag- take it anyway. And then throw it away when I am not looking.

Any extra wood would be helpful. I think our cords are too wet to burn. And this is the first time we're trying to camp with the 2 door. We are prone to bringing too much stuff so the JK might look like the Clampett mobile.

I know this is a little late on the two-day but I plan attempting gate keeper Saturday night after running trail 4, I think there were some others who may have been interested in it... I'm willing to spot been watching videos of Cherokees on 33s doing it

For Fridays run, meet in Calico's main parking lot (in front of the guards shack) at 12:30, run leaves at 1pm. The route will be up Duran and down Odessa. We will stop at the Extra credit obstacle on Duran for anyone wanting to attempt it.
Jenn look for me, because you my not recognize my jeep

I think we should all be on channel 12 on the trip to ghost town from where ever you are coming from. That way if we see another jeep we can know if they are heading to calico.
