So lookin for some recommendations...

I am trying to find some music for the video I plan on putting together for trail 4. I am thinking a fast paced, rock/alt rock song. Suggestions?

Also, on these big camping trips, I like to close my videos with a time lapse of camp. Got any good kick-back drinking songs that may make for a good time lapse?

Im all ears

I'm on You Tube a lot watching all things off road. Gotta say my personal preference is motor and tires crunching rocks. Music is good but I watch to be where the action is and i'm trying to see and hear what they are seeing and hearing. Long as your not gonna be using Rap with a lot of subs your vid's are always pretty cool. I always like ZZ Top and La Grange is my Fave.

The unfortunate thing is that the GoPro has fairly poor sound quality, so I prefer not to use it. It always comes across muffled and distorted if it isnt directly on the person/vehicle IMO.

The directions I printed to get to Calico say we will be on the 15 North, to exit 191 for Ghost Town Road.

Can you give me an idea of the last gas stop we will need to stop at coming from that direction? I know the MH will need fuel (it always does ) And we are towing the Jeep empty to save weight.

Thank you!!

We will be leaving home base in approximately 1.5 hours Oh, it's windy as heck here.....let the drinking commence

Do you run the open back? I use the larger extended battery and I think it has a more open sound channel than the regular open one.

Ok, thank you. I'll be sure we don't pass it up if we haven't stopped beforehand.

I typically run the closed back just because of the dust on the trail. The open back does help some with noise.

I just looked at mine and the bigger back has the holes for sound on the top and bottom. While the std back is only on the rear. I havent tried it with the closed one yet.

I'm can't wait! Need to go to a few stores for supplies tonight!!
That's right Rick. You do not need it, but it's nice to know you have it in case you do.
I guess psychologically you feel better.
You know me I never needed it so far, but I feel better now knowing that I do have it.
Now I do have the urge to wheel. Friday is not coming soon enough.
I can't wait to see you guys.

OK I just went back and looked at a couple of my videos. Now I gotta learn how to add some music. You went and made me have to learn more computer stuff. Maybe some good music is cool after all.
Thanks

I'm gonna be at the campground Saturday morning around 8. I'll be one of the ones with a SWR meter if anyone needs help tuning that morning. Look for me, all black 2door JK with New York plates.

I might stop by the campground Friday night for a few on my way back home from Apple Valley, depending on the time.

You have upset the gods of perfect wheeling weather by daring to mention that 'w' word. No more mention of that 'w' word.

That's when I figured we would be rolling in. It may be a little earlier though, mike just told me he might want to keep on driving tonight. Fine by me we're almost to Arvin now.
