Jeff: thanks for yet another great event! The friends, wheeling and the stories by the campfires was priceless, and then to top it off with a wedding that truly was so perfect, you set the bar high this time brother! We couldn't write a better weekend! Thank you for all your hard work to make this happen.
Thank you Jeff for an awesome and well planned event. We had a great time wheeling with some old friends and meeting new ones.
Congrats on your wedding. We wish a long life together full of good health, happiness, and many wheeling events.
Just wanted to thank everyone who joined me for the Friday run and Saturdays trail #1 run. I was only expecting 4-5 jeeps on fridays run and was shock when 12 jeeps lined up. It's so much fun showing people these trails for their first time. I met some new jeeps and had a great day on the trail with them. Both Coop and I gave the Duran extra credit a try without success. Thanks again Bill for the recovery.
When I first created the Saturday #1 run, I capped it with 10 jeeps. But with such a big turn out for this event, I expanded this run to 15. But come Saturday we started the run with 18 jeeps! I CAN NOT THANK MY HELPERS ENOUGH. They really steped up and kept everyone safe and the group moving. It was a pleasure wheeling with everyone. I had a great time.
Last I would really like to thank Jeff. Not only for putting on this event, but for the wedding invite. It really was such a cool wedding. I wish both Jeff and Sandy the very Best.
For the jeep friends I have and to the new jeepers I met, I look forward to wheeling with you real soon...
Fun day with group 3 put some faces to names like Gunner said this trail has changed. Last time For me was four months ago not the same !! This trail has it all off camber, big waterfalls! Technical, and rocks. Great venue for a meet and greet. The gate keeper is a monster the canyon reeks of gear oil with scrape marks all over rocks and walls, oil stains, parts and did I say huge rocks, crazy!! Looking forward to next run.
Enjoyed meeting you Joe, thanks for the advice during the run. Is that first shot Pucker Pass? Glad I couldn't see that view, thanks to Scott for excellent spotting! His new title should be Mr. Cool Under Fire!!
Doggone moths are in my pockets!!
We are with the forum we've been running runs for about 3 years now used to have a Cherokee. cons_table invited us on a run and we've been showing up in anything but a wrangler since,
Cool, I actually came from Toyotas and driven them in Australia, India, most of Africa and the Philippines, even in the US it was my first off roader. Now I have a jeep. Impressive little machine. Still learning it pros and cons.
Bender Bending Rodriguez is my role model.
Heres a link for a video I put together for group #1. Once again I used copyrighted music so the audio will prolly be messed up. Let me know if the link doesnt work Calico WF meet N greet 3-23-13 - YouTube
