Trail 1, Moderate Gold Mountain

1) Turdhurdler - Leader/mid/tail
2) Joebot13 - Mid/Tail/Lead
3) Yomondo - Lead/Tail/Mid

Trail 2

1) Difficult - Difficult John Bull & Holcomb Creek

1) Fred1 Lead/Mid/Tail
2) Dakota Lead/Mid/Tail
3)

Trail 3 Difficult - Dishpan & Holcomb Creek

1) BillG.OTD Lead/Mid/Tail
2) Dan Lead/Mid/Tail
3)

We are looking for three experienced leaders per trail. If you have and intersest in assisting with the trail runs, please have recovery points front and rear, knowledge of local area, experience with spotting and patience should the day start to take longer than expected. Things do happen.

I will repost this info on the first post also. If you know what trails you would like to run, please post up and let us know. We are trying to keep group size to 10 or so Jeeps. If we get a lot of additional members, we can always add another trail to the mix.

Jeff
Trail runs 2 and 3 both have 2 somewhat difficult trails to run but trail 1 only has Gold Mountain which as I recall is rather a quick and simple run. Is there something more to this run or what is the plan when everyone gets through? I guess it depends on how many Jeeps are on the trails and if there are any delays.

Is this a trail sign up or leader sign up?

If we are signing u for trails, I'd like to do Trail 1 on the first day, and then 2 or 3 the next day. Is there going to be another meet-up prior to the event?

Finn, we are officially running one day only. Saturday. Sign up for which ever Trail you like. You don't have to sign up for lead, mid or tail. Those are covered for all 3 trails.

Hey Jeff, can you post up these criteria for trail #2. At least 33's and one locker. We would also like to leave camp at 9:00AM. We don't want to miss the camp festivities by getting back to camp to late.

Thanks, Grant

Jeff, I can do trail two or three, I'd prefer 3, but I'll be happy to help where it's needed.

I have no idea what trail to sign up for

We take the TJ out this weekend for the first time, I guess I'll have a better idea after that. Will there be a run on Friday for those of us that are up there early like at Calico?

Gold Mountain could be pretty quick, but you were on the GM run with us last year, and you remember we encountered several issues on the trail, plus a little traffic. We ended up getting back to camp around the same time the other runs did. If there's extra time at the end of GM, there's nearby easy Jacoby Canyon, or we can run GM backwards. Just a couple of suggestions.

I'll be there early on Friday. I haven't decided yet, but I might want to do a Friday run, or I may just want to kick back at camp, or do the Grey's Peak hike that starts at Hanna Flat, or drive up the road to the Big Pine Flat shooting range for a little target practice if the range is still open by then.

I am not sure how many Jeeps the other runs will have, but we would like to cap run 3 at no more than 15 Jeeps.
As Jeff mentioned, If we get to a point where they are all full, we can add an additional run!

Gotcha, makes sense now.

What time on Saturday will everything be kicking off? I'll most likely be driving up that AM and want to get there with plenty of time to spare and to meet everyone before things kick off.

Anywhere from the 12 its at now to a max of 15 is fine, I don't really want to go more than that, but this is a great group!

We are scheduled for dishpan at the BBFF this weekend and we haven't done JB yet. Can a JKUR w/ 2 1/2 lift handle it (if the driver can)?
