I'm still not exactly sure what trail to sign up for, I think I'll have Mike watch some videos of 1 & 2 and see what he thinks
Here is some of the video I took last year on John Bull. Overall its not too bad. The hardest part of the whole trail starts around 1:20.

I have a few Videos of the main trails (Gold Mountain, John Bull, Holcomb Creek) on my YouTube channel.

You could probably handle Holcomb with a little help. John Bull and Dishpan are not recommended without lockers.

Yes, you're more than welcome. You'll be fine on the Gold Mtn run. Some rails would be a good idea to prevent some body damage.

Right here!

Just say when you're showing up (Friday or Saturday), camping or day trip + trail choice. Then watch for Turdhurdler to confirm and make sure he adds you to post #1. He's a little slow and old, but will get around to it once he finds his spectacles...

I guess sign us up for trail 2, we've only got a rear locker so hopefully we don't hold anyone up. Previous owner said he did John Bull in this Jeep, so we'll give it a shot.

I did John Bull in mine no lockers took a bit. And with a good spotter not quite as long. Got winched once each time. But I went thru twice last month.

You will do fine My first time through I had "zero" lockers. The only spot that hung me up too much was at that 1:20 section in my video...but made it through unassisted (a spotter of course, though). My second time through, front locker...had a little tire slipping at the same section, but made it through too. I probably actually took the harder line my first time through (the harder line was blocked my second time due to a broken rig).

It will be fun no matter what We'll have some great spotters, so no excuses not to make it

Good to have ya. Like everyone else said, if you get stuck worse case, we pull out a strap and tug you off the rock. No shame in that.

Trail 2 Remember that we are leaving Hanna Flats at 9AM, instead of the usual 10AM.

Ahem......9am is good. (10 is better!)
For those of us primitive folks in tents (without running water, stoves, microwaves, showers etc.) it takes a little longer to get going in the morning.
And don't forget the day-trippers....

If anyone needs stock JK suspension parts- I probably have it for sale. Plus a little more. Aside from the bumper/steps I can bring to the
M & G or meet/ship beforehand.
http://www.wranglerforum.com/f14/201...ml#post3873684
I also will be selling my 305/70/17" KM2s with about 6000 miles on them. In great shape. I just need to pick them up from Stan's shop- will post pics. (On the Sale thread).
Back to our regularly scheduled program.....

As long as those young whipper snappers next door don't keep me up all night with their crazy partying, 9 is no problem

Jeff,
Will Saturday night be a potluck dinner?

Mike shot a nice pig and is having the entire thing made into linguica and sausage, I can bring some for appetizers. I'm going to have a huge amount of it
