Did some of the shopping but the jeep doesn't hold much. Lol just need a couple things from the grocery store as I leave work. But loading is moving along. And IF I can get out earlier tomorrow... I can actually pick up the boy a bit early since he conveniently got suspended from school today. Nice (not)! But dad said it was something stupid so... It works. Gonna head out and go get him now so he can work on things while I am at work back in a bit.

Ran 3 miles in 25 minutes. Not bad for a old fart bag like me. Now just got to get it under 20.

Oh that would be nice. When I recuperate from all the camping supplies I bought and the new radiator, I will look into one. But I don't want a roof one then I won't be able to lay the top down anytime I want without extra work.

That is so far! Why do people even live out there? I know I complain about this on a regular basis but Lucerne should not have houses!

We're still cruising, I may have gotten enough m&m's in him to get us to Barstow . We're passing thru Mojave now. Wind is terrible!! Of course we've got two of the most non aerodynamic vehicles made if it keeps up we may have to just stop for the night.

No wind in apple valley but I just got back from Lucerne and it was soooo bad I could only so 45 on the 247. It kept moving me all over!

My old TJ was like a potato chip in the wind, just floated all over....weeee!

Mikes had a lot of experience driving this bus in the wind. We've had some crazy adventures going to lake Powell and Havasu. I'm the one that gets nervous that we will tip over. Lol, he tells me the Jeep is our anchor. Damn expensive anchor!!

Got my fuel tank skid installed but ended up having to replace the fuel pump assembly because the high pressure connection snapped off. Such a bummer! Then I added a third brake light to my spare tire center cap but have to play around with the wiring to get it working tomorrow.
