Oh believe me, I was a woman on a mission. Mikes just grateful he didn't come home to find Jeep pieces spread all over the driveway. I've been known to tear stuff apart in the past

LOL! I'm with ya! I feel bad for Jacque. Driving home from work she must be thinking "what fresh hell has Danny gotten himself into today, and how am I going to get him to clean it up." LOL!

Sounds like she's a patient woman

I had an 87 4-Runner that was my pride and joy. I bought my daughter a hamster and left it in the box from the pet store while going into the grocery store. The hamster ate through the box and disappeared in the 4-Runner.

Mike came home to find me in the garage with the interior of the 4-runner in a pile next to it I took every damn side panel and seat out to find that hamster.

I eventually found him, in the back behind a speaker. He must have went in through the seatbelt opening in the side panel. I was up until after midnight putting everything back together and we named the hamster Houdini

My husbands pretty patient too

Holy crap! I can imagine the look on Mike's face as he drove up to the house and saw that mess.....PRICELESS!!! Glad you found Houdini before he 'stank up' the joint.

Yea, anyone that is willing to put up with me has the patience of Job!

I found it!!! The last thing I did was look inside the storage area in the back, sure enough the small sledge hammer and a couple wrenches were rattling. I had originally put a couple rags under and they had worked their way over them. I guess next time I start there, I did get everything cleaned out of the console and under the seats so it was a good thing.
Mine rattles and squeaks too. I fix it by turning the knob on the radio labeled volume. I suggest start at a lower number and increase till all unwanted noise is gone. May also work one whinny kids or spouse. Results may vary.

Yes, the volume fix is commonly used. This time I knew it was something I had to find and fix. It was stuck in my mind like a bad song, lol.

Only 7 more months. Not that I'm counting. No more after this. Want time to wheel which don't do much of right now. Work, kid/wife, school, honey-do list!

I'm retired too! Getting paid to go to school thanks to my GI bill benefits. Might as well take advantage of the benefits while I still have them!

Congrats! You're in the home stretch. I've got another 18 months left, unless I specialize my MBA, or roll right into my PhD. I'm using every penny of my GI bill!!!

Thanks Gunner. Yes, 26 years. I'm taking my time....really just recharging my batteries. My last year and a half burnt me out terribly, so I'm using this time o reset and recharge myself. Plus I should have a lot of free time to wheel! WOOOOHOOOO!!!

Yeller's gonna be a mega-beast when Stan's finished with it. Mike and I were just standing there with stars in our eyes looking at it at the shop. I'm thinking it's Gatekeeper material for sure
