You have this? I only have disintegrating discs and arthritis. They want to open me up top to bottom and scrape out the stuff pushing on the spinal cord. What is it like with the fusion? Better?

For me I lost use of my arms and they hurt like crazy. But mine was a fracture and had to fuse 4 vertebrae and 1995 I got some screws holding my tailbone to my hips. That was a chopper crash. So yes my spine repairs are better. Consider the alternative was crapping blood for the tail and paralyzed arms for the neck.

Broke the 3 atlas bones in my neck in the 70's on a motorcycle. OK now no surgery. I didn't know it was broken. Just lots of pain and noise in my ears when I turned my head. Finally went to the doc and he x rayed it. Guess I was lucky, the nerves are ok now.

Well I don't want to miss out!

Broke nearly every bone on the left side of my body, punctured my lung and ear drum, torn ligaments in my tricep, shoulder, and hip, TBI, and permanent hip damage.

Drag racing a motorcycle in the summit series. Hit the wall at 120mph on July 31st, 2011.

Ok; I feel better.
