Its not to bad depending on where and what parts you need. Here's a good write up on it.

Brakes on the SRT8 were quoted to us at 1,600. from three different places

Luckily we had a friend that needed money and I got them done for $200. The pads were almost $800. Damn Brembos are pricey!!

Mikes back was out so I had no choice but to pay. I loved that car, but it was an expensive car to maintain. Tires were 1,400.00, it only ran premium and got 17mpg. Synthetic oil changes were expensive, it just really added up. My car is expensive to have stuff done also, so one had to be sacrificed for the Jeep.

I do miss the massive horsepower and the sound of the Borla exhaust though.

I don't know if you guys heard that someone graffitied the petroglyphs in Joshua tree. I would like to go out to the ones in rodman mountains before they are closed or destroyed. I don't know where they are or how to get there and I don't really care. I have a idea of the location and that's all I need. I am planning on going in approximately two weeks. From what I have gathered its back country. I'm planning on starting on Friday night and set up camp around 241 in jonhson valley and head out Saturday morning spend the night out there and head back in on Sunday.
Now what do I know about this part of the desert. Well if you don't like guns you should not come with me. If you get freaked out easily when be shot at you should not come with me. I don't know if it still occurs but drug smugglers like to land planes here on lake beds to move the drugs to cars so if that freaks you out or want to get involved you shouldent come with me. I only want to get involved if I really have too. If something does happen and everyone is alive at the end, no popo. If you dial 911 at the first site of trouble you shouldent come with me.
