I tell ya I love everyone here! I have met some briefly and others more and some not at all. And I tell ya if I have a question or wanna go play they are all right there to help. I was so scared at first. Meeting new people and looking stupid if I messed up or got stuck... Full of anxiety! Omg but after a few trips with everyone and a couple small runs. They have all been very supportive and helpful great spotters!!

I may have some questions for you regarding adding a Jeep to our garage

Mike and I seem to have different ideas of what we should get (ya that's a shocker ) something that needs completely built to climb, or already capable with a few tweaks here and there. We do agree that we want it street legal.

We're not sure if we should look for something older with leaf springs or newer? Does it really matter?

We're in the looking and planning stages right now, the lovely IRS hit us in the gut and unless a deal of the century comes up right now, we need to recoup a bit

Thank you for any help!!

You & my Mocha dog are the same.....troublemakers, always looking to get into something and love to tear shit up. Yet cute and so sweet sometimes you can't help but keep them around for entertainment

And other than you being a Raiders fan, your not so bad

Lisa. You and mike have the basis for an awesome jeep. Didn't your dad say he wanted to sell his CJ. Nothing says Jeep like a CJ. And if it is in good shape you can do some tweaks and some springs and such and you have an awesome crawler. I am gonna go look for something on Youtube be right back.

His CJ is his baby and I could never wheel it. He has so much into it I couldn't afford it first of all, lol. Second I think he would disown me if he saw me climbing rocks in it.

There are quite a few options for sale out there, some want a fortune for them and it's ridiculous. You have to watch buying locally, some of these rigs are Pismo regulars and have bad rust. They throw Maaco paint jobs and try to get more money for them by hiding it. You have to really look closely.

That thing is awesome! It sure sounds healthy climbing that dune area too. Mike would be all over that

Just has a little V6 in it with some Dana 44's and Detroit lockers. A pretty basic rig. But it's light and on Boggers. But yeah it sounds so effortless and has a great growl to it.
