He used to be, we've built a dune buggy, 2 Baja bugs and a 68 GTO. Then he opened a 3rd store and all his time has gone to that

I still need to figure out exactly what he wants, or should I say he needs to figure out what he wants. I loved spending evenings in the garage working on the GTO, having parts lying all over the pool table and counters got a little annoying

What I meant is that you only need one fuse the one in the block just make sure the fuse is rated for the cb. So if the cb needs a 3 amp fuse install a 3 amp fuse and eliminate the inline fuse. So there is less connections which are fail points.

From what I hear of the rubicon trail, there are bypasses for major obstacles and a stock jeep will get trough it with some good driving and luck.

A small block and an SM420 is a pretty awesome combo. 7.02 low gear ratio plus a 2.72 and some 4.88's and you got a 93 to 1 crawl in first and a 52 to 1 in second. then you still have 1 to 1 in high. They are cast iron too.
