Sounds like a pretty good business model.. Fix jeeps for a living and then take your customers on weekend trips that break their jeeps, so you can fix them the following week.

The only catch is mine breaks too Bob! But I wouldn't trade my life of business, and the good times with my customers for anything!

Your livin the dream Stan, it's nice to see good people get to do what they love. I know you & your family have put the time in and made sacrifices to get there.

A friend sent me the recipe for the Red Lobster Cheddar biscuits, it says to make it as a loaf instead. I just tasted it and it's really good!! I think it would be more like theirs if it was as biscuits, but's it's still yummy

For sure Lisa, thanks. When I was 17, I put 72 Chevy 1/2 ton pick up running gear under my very nice 71 El Camino and put centerline wheels on it with 36" tires! It actually worked very well for my lack of mechanical knowledge at the time. And then my next project was a jeep, and the rest is history. 9 jeeps later, I have my current JK, and the passion to make Jeeps the best 4 wheel drive is alive and well. And meeting all you fantastic people, along with the fun we have on the trails, is just icing on the cake!

The first time we put the Camino body on the 1/2 ton frame, I got a ticket because the headlights were too high, so I ended up putting the t case, trans, and axles under the El Camino frame and body. This is the way it was until I sold it a few years later.

Vehicle's like that were all over in the 70s...I remember as a kid in Lake Arrowhead the Zahini's (not sure of the spelling) a very wealthy family that lived next door to Liberace in Point Hamiltair on the lake. Well they only drove Rolls Royce and they had a lot of them... (these people had an elevator in they're garage for they're cars) so they had a RR body put onto a 1/2 ton 4wd Chevy truck chassis so when it snowed they could still ride in style ....

Hey Lab Lover They now put the recipe out in a box you can buy. The wife found it and now I'm back on a diet. Couldn't leave them alone.

So you were a mountain man growing up. Yeah I bet it could be tough when it snows up there to be a kid.
