Andy I gotta say you must have started young cause you really didn't look like you had 30 years on any job.

Are they giving you guys any furlough days..?
They keep the timing in with the spirit of government waiting. Haha. No furlough for me because of the job. Not to say they can't change their minds. Thanks all! I've really enjoyed my time. As with all jobs there are struggles but I can't see doing anything else.

I appreciate that. I did start the army at 18 then began with TSA while I was still officially in the army on terminal leave at the end of my career. I pass year 11 with TSA in two weeks.

Ok I have a question. I am now saving for my next mod. I want a rubicrawler. Here is my reason. My back is shot and I need to be able to really crawl the hard stuff in such a way that I can reduce the shock. Going to 40's cost to much to do right and I can't handle more height. So any of you have any toyota experience with the deep gears?

They have the crawlbox that I'm eyeballing for half the price of an Atlas that bolts onto my wimpy tcase that gives me a 2Lo and changes my ratios to 2.72:1 in 4Hi and 7.4:1 in 4Lo.

Sure didn't. Funds and family events not allowing it at the moment. Next trip is planned to be fathers day weekend in Big Bear but daughter is expecting around that time so who knows.

Bob, do you already have suspension seats, or stock seats? I have stock but have been told that a pair of mastercraft suspension seats make a world of difference. Thoughts anyone???

I've looked at those but I don't think I can make it across the side bolsters to get in the jeep. They are pretty tall to hold you in place.
And Yikes they are expensive.

I think they sell for about $300 a piece. Not sure if that includes everything you need like the sliders or if your current ones will work. Check around. I know 4wheelparts has them sitting out on display so you can sit in them and see how they feel. Maybe try them out in someone's jeep.

MasterCraft Baja RS®
Bob, the Jeep I've been looking at has those in it. It has an Atlas II 5.0:1 and 456 gears too

We may be able to go look at it next weekend, if it's still there I spoke to the guy again and he hasn't had anyone serious look at it

Lol thanks Stan! My sliders are amazing. Had to hang with the honey a bit tonight. Didn't get any pics before dark. I do love them. Got stopped at the Arco and asked If I would please trade my jeep for her 4x4 trail blazer. Told her sell that useless thing and buy a jeep! Go on the forum and make some friends! Quite a compliment!

I'm a big mush bucket when it comes to her. She can make me feel all funny just by holding my hand when we walk.....

I don't fit in your seats either. I tried. They put the window or seat buttons on the top of the seat. Only little workout monsters like you can fit in those things.

Yea. I had to put my self on time out. Between school and the corporals testing I was falling behind. Kept getting on the site and not doing what I should be doing. Bringing the family Saturday for a bit so I gets to say hi to everyone. Just be a bit late

I told him I can't come visit for a bit. My what i spent was tooooo high! Lol. Great deal though but now that I am lifted and had some minor important repairs done and got my amazing sliders installed.... I must only play with the jeep! I need to save for a drive out to CO to see my little guy. That's a chunk of change in gas. Lol.
