You can become a supporting member for 25 bucks and post away. It's to help defer the cost of running the site.

I'm not kidding. Unless my medical issues change I am never going to run the Con or the Dusy. I might do Moab since it has motels and I believe the altitude is lower. But camping at 7000 is a no no for me right now. And thats OK. I can surely find things to get into trouble on right here in my back yard.

I would love to explore Moab before I leave also.

Gunner you let me know when you want to do Moab. I've been there the last two summers and love it. I've only scratched the surface of the trails. So many and so fun.

Their prices are very reasonable.
I don't care who picks up the phone at Woods, you always talk to a positive, knowledgeable person.
If the local guy fits this description, then there's no need to use Tom Woods.
Since I got the Woods shafts for my JKRU, I've noticed a great improvement in handling, with no vibration!

Stayed home sick today. Feel like crap. I think I need to force myself to drink more fluids on the trails. The problem is no potties and I have issues with no facilities out there! I know tmi lol. I just know i will lean against a snake or poisonous bush or cactus or something dangerous. Lol! Allergies aren't helping either sore throat stuffy head and nose cranky body soreness from being tense. And on top of that I am sure the lack of fluids didn't help. I think I need therapy. Lol.

just an F.Y.I. for those of you new to the forum or that just dont know,i think i can speak for most if not all that when we put a run together we dont allow drinking or drugs on the trails ,besides it being illegal its just an accident waiting to happen and you never know when theres going to be a police officer, sheriffs deputy or even TSA with a drug sniffing dog in the rig right behind you, so lets try and keep it safe .

Yeah but when you have two teenage girls in one jeep that can smell the weed from another jeep just isn't good

One of the reasons I don't like night runs. To many people already started the after the run partying before the run. You can get hurt out there. Drunk or high is just not safe.

An awesome place that I've been wanting to get out to before I leave California is Sand Hollow in St. George. It's a mini-Moab that's only a couple hours past Vegas! And there are hotels for you too, Bob!!

Wow, I guess it is kind of good I was not able to attend the run that evening. I don't mind getting called names or hurting someones feelings for drinking or worse on the trail. I have and will enforce donor wheeling on any event I organize.

Don't get me wrong, I will be the first to open a beer when I get back to camp and start the campfire talk of the days events. Ok, I am off my soapbox. Back to the normal chatting.

Jeff

I'm so glad you brought this up. Doing any of those things while on the trail or on the road is unacceptable and we will ask you to leave. It sounds harsh but putting someone elses life at risk is just selfish. Lets be responsible.
