You're probably looking at a $200 with new brake pads and rotors. The brake lines aren't to hard to make if you know how and I think MORE sells a cable to make the ebrake work. You're probably looking at, about 1k to put it under your jeep. There is a guy in yorba linda that will regear an axle for 300 if its not on the jeep. 500 if its on the jeep. I think you might of have talked to him already. IMO it would be the best route to upgrade to a beefier axle and have it regear to your liking than doing the regear twice. If its a D44 or an 8.8 its up to you, i personally wouldn't knock the 8.8 out just because it has c- clips. I plan on later getting 37s and still run the stock shafts on the 8.8 because I've seen people wheel the stock shafts pretty hard. The truss will also make any axle more solid.

Your going to have to pay for it, strip it, Might as well build it while it's down so that means gears, locker, and chromo's. Then you can truss it, new mounts welded on and paint it. Then you have it ready to drop in while your still driving.

I can tell already that the interior of the jeep is much warmer near the top with the soft top on. I think the white on the inside of the hard top does some reflecting heat barrier stuff.

It may work out that way, the owner of the black one can't meet us until 2. So we will probably look at the other one first. Save the best for last, lol.
