No. I've got the Rock Hard front and rear bumper, Poly Performance full skids and the Power Plant, my JKU is a fatty. Lol, she's not light, but she performs just fine and still has plenty of get up and go

I don't know how most people do it but I have a plastic welding tools. It's kinda like a hot knife for cutting and flash heat for welding. I have no idea how it will work on jeep fenders but the theory is the same.

My son and I cut my fenders and installed the PSC defenders. Wasn't too tough, just took our time and made sure we were very careful before making the cuts.

My jeep's not a fatty but her driver is.

I added 100 pounds to the front, I removed the hardtop for 100 lbs off. Then I removed my two Gerry Cans at 75 lbs with gas in them and removed the high lift for another 25 off. So even with the winch i'm 100 pounds lighter. And when I replace the wire with rope i'll save another 30 pounds. Oh and I sold the Powertank so thats another 25 off. Danged thing is gonna float away in a stiff breeze.

Along highway 38 there is Barton flats, San Gorgonio, heart bar and south fork. South fork is the best for just tents. Also over flow area off off Jenks lake rd east. For the over flow you need the wilderness pass and there are no fires, but it is camp where you want.

Go down glass rd off of 38 to 7 oaks. Store, bar, pool, and catch trout from the stream next to your camp.

Swapping the winch line for rope is that much? Hmm, may have to do that. I wish I could loose 30 lbs.that easily Lol, I put Caleb's car seat and him inside and I've got my 30lbs. back Oh well, black Jeep is much thinner

He actually sheds very little, he's lab & Pit cross so I think that helps lessen the shedding. Besides, it's not my side so doesn't bother me

Okay I'm looking for ideas. I'd like to take my wife away for an overnight next Friday night. Some place nice, good food available but isn't totally outrageously priced. Any places come to mind? And yes, this means I'm going to have to skip the horse thief flats run on Saturday, but with as much crap as she puts up with I think she deserves it. Haha

Sandi and I hit a bed and breakfast in Idyllwild and had a blast. A few restaurants around, nothing real fancy, but for me, you cannot beat the mountains for romantic locations.
