Manage stock is where they breed the game. don't get me wrong some of the game become naturalized quick and are very fun but some hogs can become enormous like 800# large. I have never downed one it just felt wrong for man to mess with it genetically to kill for size than kill for the hunt.

Dosen't take much of a hog to ruin your day if you make him mad and don't get him with your first shot. An 500+ would make a grown man wheee his drawers. We had some big Razorbacks in Arkansas. I only lived there a year but we were way out of town and those bad boys did a lot of damage and flat out were not afraid of you. They were very smart but not afraid to charge you.

Those are the best ones in the Philippines When i was a kid i would hunt them with a bamboo spear. When they charge you then you stab them in the underpart of the neck if you missed then you jump to the left and run like a little girl.

They don't manage any of these hogs, sometimes there are alot and other seasons there aren't. The ranch is surrounded by mountain range and other ranch land.

These hogs are small in comparison to those, only 200 - 300 lbs max. They run like crazy, Mike says the worst is after you shoot them they take off, you have to track them quite a ways.

Hogs are tough. We had 3 semi domesticated on our property. The Boar was about 350 pounds. We didn't feed them they foraged. The big guy came after me a couple of times. I booted him in the head with a steel toe redwing. He learned not to come at me head on but I caught him sneaking up on me when I was squirrel hunting. Soon as I realized he was stalking me I had to get real careful. They ate my squirrel's if I didn't get to them first. I did feed them the snakes we killed so maybe they were managed.

He's had some made that was delicious, he's experimented on his own and it was not as good. He made some Italian sausage that was awesome. I think he was talking about making Jalapeno Cheddar with some of this one, hope he doesn't screw it up. Lol

He went deer hunting in Texas a few years back and had Jalapeno Cheddar sausage made from the venison. It was to die for!!! Luckily we had plenty, because everyone that tasted it loved it. We bbq'd a huge amount for my daughters wedding rehearsal dinner and people that didn't like venison loved it.

I wish we had the recipe, I would love to have more of it. We named the mount Jalapeno, he sits over my fireplace

Just wear and tear. No upgrades yet, I have an extended warranty so I'm having the dealership fix it.

60K miles of abuse. Stock stuff held up fairly well.

If you guys want to hunt we can do a big horn hunt in the Mohave desert. It's 20 to 30 for a tag. I think here in California they might be on a lotto system. All I know is I haven't got a tag since 2010 and I have been paying more to the dfg. The entry for tags are drawn early June I think. Or we can do what mike does and hunt on private land.

Everyone, please wear your seat belts and make sure those with you do too.

My daughter just lost a friend this morning from an accident last night. She was driving a 4-runner on the highway when some guy in a truck cut her off and clipped her bumper. She rolled multiple times and was ejected from the vehicle. She wasn't wearing a seat belt and was critical when the transported her from the scene.

It happened at the underpass right by our house, she was only 20. So sad

I don't like seat belts at all. However it's the law.
If it wasn't law I would not wear it. But as many things in life, the choice was made for us so we do as expected. Click it or ticket.

I have always worn my seatbelt since early 80s when I saw a wrecked car on a flatbed in Germany. I couldn't make out what kind it was but a guy nearby told me, then explained to me he was in it on the autobahn when he crashed. He was fine. Made a believer out of me!

She's doing okay, thank you for asking. Amanda relies on her faith and prayer to get her through tough times, between that and our close family she rallies through. I suspect she will be the one giving support to a couple of the girls in their circle of friends, she never ceases to amaze me.

My new Jeep has the Mastercraft seats with 4 point harnesses. I had a heck of a time figuring out how to latch them, lol. I really felt like a dumb blonde

My Dad was so glad to hear the new Jeep has a full roll cage and the harnesses. He has been insisting that we have an aftermarket roll cage put in the JKU, I think after Mike rolled the YJ he got a bit nervous.
