No I didn't but he was upfront with everything and send me a few pics of it! He had it for over $20,000 at that time, it was on CL for at least a month or two

Ya, I kept an eye on it for over a month. I spoke to him and then we were looking around more locally.

He got back in touch with me a couple weeks ago and found a JKU he wants so we decided to go look at it over the Memorial weekend. I drove it and we liked it so we spent the week getting everything situated and Mike drove down and picked it up today.

Nothing wrong with that. That was our original plan, but with my husband running a business and doing the volunteer work he does it would never happen. I think he's a bit disappointed since he wanted to build something, but it's a Jeep after all, there's always something that can be done

It just wasn't realistic for us to go that route and this just sort of fell into place.

I look forward to seeing the pics and progress on your Jeep, good luck with it

Lisa

The marines want JV... there is a group named PEER that wants to shut down open riding at ocotillo wells and make it designated paths only

Apparently this is happening everywhere ... in Utah there are plans to develop half of Sand Hollow and some group lead by that hiker who chopped his arm off and REI wants to shut down half of Moab to make it a wilderness area.

I spent almost a week there and never saw a single hiker-camper. We were all over that area.

They did the same type of thing with the Snowy Plover and closing a huge section of Pismo dunes. The population didn't change due to the closure, they went to a different area and now there are a shit load of them. But they will never reopen those areas they blocked.

Once they get a closure or something
Protected it stays forever. They never re-evaluate and re-open areas. Even if they discover they were wrong.

These people are robbing our children of the experience and freedom to explore. To experience the solitude offered in the open spaces of our deserts and mountains.

The Jeep in the first picture, with beadlocks is the new one. The other is actually silver and that's Doug's baby

I just took the TJ over to my Dads, he loved it! His only requirement was I had to have a full roll cage. He was very happy it does and even more so when he saw the 4 pt. harness system. He said now I can go tear shit up, lol
