Bob, I didn't see anything. Are you talking about the white one for the TJ he did about a week ago? I did see that and it's gorgeous. I really like the one in our new Jeep

I didn't see if this was answered yet but I'm pretty sure all campgrounds in BB allow fires (depending on the fire conditions) as long as it is within their fire ring. If you yellow post camp you will have to get a fire permit though.

Ya, he seems pretty attached to his boat. I can relate, I don't think we will ever sell our boat. Maybe pass it on to the kids years down the road, but for now she's staying put

I'm planning on going up to big bear over the weekend just get a weekend of dirt and outdoor stuff. May bring a fishing pole and some firewood. I'm planning on spending Friday night near jenks lake and just drive till I need to come home on Sunday.

Check out south fork campground. They allow fires in near the Santa Ana / south fork streams and down the road from jenks. It's the best place to tent camp in my opinion. Other camps near jenks are Barton flats and San gorgonio

Or here is seven oaks which is right next to the Santa Ana as well.

Thank you for the info. I don't really have a plan if I find a spot that allows fire I will have a fire if not that's ok. I will pick up a fire permit at the ranger station in the morning that's all I have planed. I don't even want to break out a map, just drive and soak in area.

Print out your campfire permit online.

If you do 7 Oaks, it is easier to go through Middle Control Road. It is the dirt road just past the resturaunt in Angeles Oaks. Much easier if you are bringing a trailer or RV.
