How do I check compression if I can't stop the fuel supply on my 89 carb wrangler, do I just pull the plug from the ignition coil to the distributor?

Pull the coil wire out of the distributor and ground it. Then you can crank it.

Happy dads day to all the fathers out there on this beautiful day! We just parked and unloaded the jeep and motor home from the Big Bear Forest fest. What a fantastic weekend of hanging out with friends, customers, and other vendors. The wheeling was great on John Bull, the dinner was tasty, along with the desert, and the weather was the best. And we watched some of our customers and friends sitting with us win some nice prizes, including two winches!

Stan. Got everything installed. Man this thing looks awesome. I just have to take a look at the front brakes again. Small issue there. But our jeep is looking sick.

4.2 Howell fuel injection opinion please. Just the throttle body. Or the 4.0 manifold conversion. Whats the difference why is one better than the other.

Anybody do this conversion?

The Howell stuff is awesome. I believe only one is CA smog legal. The 4.0 is suppose to be a better manifold more power.
