Stan's proving that men are just big kids by having a backyard camp out, that's awesome

We spent all day cleaning, washing & waxing the motorhome. Then a trip to Bev Mo for a cart full of beer.

1 week and we'll be at Lake Shasta drinking that beer, woo-hoo

Nice! I've never been to Shasta, so I'm excited. My Mom lives up there, but we don't speak much and I don't visit. I've been by a couple times as we went other places, it's beautiful.

We have some really nice friends that we're going with, there will be 10 of us so it will be a more mellow and relaxing trip than some of our others.

We go to the Sacramento Delta for a long Labor Day trip, there are 60 of us. That is our out of control crazy trip. We have beer pong and corn hole tournaments, the fun never ends

I can't tell you how much Kelly and I would have paid to have a porta-potti like that on our boat camping trips to Lake Powell. We had to beg, plead and bitch to get the guys to buy us a real potti and not make us go on a bucket, lol. We designed a shower curtain on some PVC pipe to give us some sort of privacy, then closed it with clothes pins

We did the primitive camping there for 3 years, the 4th we revolted and insisted on a house boat

You know you have been wheeling a lot recently when the guard at the gate asks you how it went out on the rocks, on your way back home.

It was cloudy today so the sun wasn't beating down on us near as bad. It was very mild. The wind sucked though.

It's been an odd couple of days around here. Last night we had a major power outage, over 140,000 without power from Santa Ynez to Cambria. Power came back on about 1 am.

Just about an hour ago a small plane crashed into a building, hitting a Fed Ex truck about 2 miles from my office. The pilot has died, but no other injuries or deaths. It's so sad, but could have been so much worse. I guess he had mechanical problems and had said so over the radio before crashing.

Between these two things and the fact it rained this morning, it's been a rough Monday

A police officer just showed up at my office, looking for a tenants office. The tenant is, "suspected" of being the pilot of the plane. The plane is registered to his company

Just walked trough Mc Fadden-dale hardware store. Looked at all the stuff I could make for my ex jeep or stuff to use on the soon ex wife. Oh well maybe I will get another jeep soon.
