I can handle the heat, I actually like it. I just can't stand trying to sleep when it's hot. I open a window and turn on the ceiling fan and do just fine, except about 5-7 days a year when we get really hot.

I told him there will come a time when I will have AC, or his life will be hell. Lol, hopefully those times aren't too soon
You have solar panels on your house?

Ya, 32 of them. We're still on the grid, we pay about 4-7.00 a month for generation fees. Our meter runs backwards almost all the time.

Solar panels are a great investment for home owners. In case you didnt know, washing them or at least rinsing them from the film of dust they accumulate can restore about 13-18 percent of the energy they produce.

Lisa sorry to hear about your friend. It's always tough to loose someone close to you. Your family will be in my prayers.

Looks like you could set up a pitch and putt in your front yard.

Thank you Bob, we are all just reeling from this loss.

Paul was an amazing man that touched so many. Being from a small town almost makes it harder, we all have grown up together and everyone's families are so close.

Paul was my brothers best friend, when my brother passed Paul stepped up and helped my family more than I can ever say. Mike and I will do the same for his family to get them through this, it's what he would want.

Long Day

I think I will sleep good tonight, between no sleep last night and the emotional toll of today I'll probably be out as soon as my head hits the pillow.

Our Shasta trip is up in the air, at least until we know the funeral details and date.

Thank you Stan, sometimes life gives us a kick in the butt. It makes us realize what a short time we really have here and it's important to make the most of it.

Hug our loved ones a little more, don't sweat the small stuff and take time to enjoy life and friendships to the fullest

The Currie was delivered this morning, thank you

Well our Shasta trip has been cancelled, I'm so disappointed I could just scream. I've been planning for this trip for months and need a break.

I've decided I'm demanding an extra day at Big Bear, I reserved my campsite for Thursday night also.
