Dropped the jeep off at JPi on Monday for a new skid and rear main. Get a call Tuesday from Dan informing me my rotors and pads were shot. Not the news I wanted as the better half and I were sitting poolside at Mission In with drinks in hand for our 3rd anniversary.

Thanks JPi, for taking the the extra time to go through the jeep to make sure everything is good.

Thanks Patrick, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it's alway easier to fix in the shop than on the trail.
Happy Anniversary!

At least it went into your Jeep, I spent $825.00 today on dental work I would have much rather put it into one of the Jeeps, even if it was a repair.

Happy Anniversary

Best not to wait on those anyhow, plus you have that huge grade to come down from there. Are you going mountain biking up there? We did that a couple years ago and it was awesome!

Yea. The wife drives the jeep up and down the grade. A bit easier on the MH. We stay at Sherwin Creek campground. Relax, drink, fish, maybe golf. Pretty much try and unplug except for school. But only 6 weeks of that left.

My grandson just turned two, he sleeps all night for his parents and usually for me. He has woke up at 2am and came into my room asking, "Dama, I have pancakes, please?" Lol, guess what grandpa did??? Yes, he talked grandma into making them. Lol

Calebs latest thing is he had come up with a way to distinguish Mike and I from his other grandparents.

We are Jeep Dama and Jeep Papa, Kari & Ron are Train Dama and Train Papa. Haha, that's pretty smart for a 2 year old.

Ron has a huge model train setup at their house, and Caleb loves trains.

We have the Jeeps and of course Caleb loves Jeeps. He actually loves Jeeps more than trains, he always wants to go ride the Jeep

Experience, or a shot if wild turkey I think the wild turkey works better and requires less practice.

He will probably just sleep, lol. When my son was little (he's 30 now) we would take him out in our dune buggy. It was a 2 seat rail, he would sit on my lap all strapped in and cozy. He fell asleep every time we went out to Pismo, and that thing was loud!! My friends couldn't believe it, I don't think we had one ride that he stayed awake on, lol.

Happy Friday ... It was beautiful this morning in the desert! I love that there are prime wheelin' spots 5 minutes from my garage door ...

... I suppose it's a trade off for living 80 miles away from the nearest mall!
