What a productive evening.
Gonzo is helping out a forum members daughter down here in Seal Beach. Her jeep has a big bad spot on her frame.

Doug, I think there will be a nice breeze in Calico......you know, out on the rocks

It's going to be a busy week around here. Tonight we're going to the fair to see Rascal Flatts & The Band Perry, makes for a really late night.

Tomorrow & Thursday we're prepping for a huge fund raising bbq on Sat. There is 400lbs of tri tip to bbq and over 1,000 sandwiches to assemble. Then Friday night we have a dinner to attend. Not to mention I'm beat today!

Lisa you need a real vacation. But it all sounds like fun. I'm sorry we didn't get to wheel together. I'm sure Mike is much more comfortable with the Jeep. I was having big trouble breathing at that altitude and went back to the room.

The Delta trip over Labor Day is a good vacation, this weekend was a fun mini vacation. The extra day was nice, but with a busy week it makes it a little more hectic.

The dust was an issue for me, Friday night I had a heck of a time and coughed all night. I made sure to take a couple bandanas for Sat. and we tied them across our face. It helped alot, but then the rain helped more. made it interesting for the rocks, but I loved the dust being gone.

Mike is getting used to the Atlas and the handling of the Jeep, Fridays run was a great help. With just two Jeeps he was able to play with the gearing and get more comfortable for Saturday. Overall it was an awesome time, I'm sorry we missed you & Gerry. I hope your feeling better now that your back to sea level

The jeep needs a good vacuuming but non the less I have installed me new seat! Woohoo! So my passengers won't fall out when I hit a bump (lol that was funny!) and they have more leg room but I lose space. I guess it's a give and take. Oh well looks nice and comfy. I will never know because I won't be sitting back there!

Rhonda, does it fold forward like the stock one did? We took the seat out of the TJ, it was pretty useless since the roll bar comes across the bottom front of it. If you sat back there your legs would have to be over it and it would hit the back of your knees. A car seat fit fine, that's what the previous owner had back there for his youngest.

I ordered a full Tuffy storage box for the back for Mike, it would have come in handy this last weekend and everything would have stayed dry

We went to the Rascal Flats concert last night, they put on an awesome show. The Band Perry opened for them, they were amazing too. We didn't get home until after 12:30, I've been pooped all day and now I'm headed to the gym. This will be an interesting workout for sure, lol. I may fall asleep on the rowing machine

This guy doesn't know the difference between a CJ7 and a CJ5 ... but I've seen rust buckets go for $3500 ... let alone a built up long nose

1976 jeep cj7 | Trucks for sale on Fort Irwin bookoo!

Had I the money it would be in my driveway ...

I am very honored with the offer. I have checked out the Misfits events and most appear to be on Sundays, and I normally work Sundays. I will be happy to assist with any suggestions or try to keep track of who is attending if you like. I can also do research on possible locations of meet places to help out. Let me know.

I'm wondering if there's some big problem not listed, the Atlas is worth almost as much as the Jeep is selling for.

I've never seen that rig up here so I couldn't tell ya ... but it seems like he just needs the cash ... a couple months ago someone sold their YJ buggy that had about $30k invested into it for $7k
