Is that Zion? I think that's called lions back. I thought they closed that trail?? My Toyota climbed and drove down it. I would say a greased bb could not be shoved up my behind and the hair on my back stayed up for a week.

Lions back is in Moab right?? And that looks scary. I don't think I would like that at all! Lol

Congrats on the new Jeep Bob, dark side or not. With the TLC you put into the TJ, I'm sure the JK will be as good/better than the TJ. Can't wait to wheel with ya again.

Yes Lions back is in Moab and it is closed... for many years now....although that does not look to me to be Lions back...I could be wrong though... you will be amazed at what you'll be able to do in Moab....the rock are like sandpaper and give awesome traction.

Not really sure all I know was we got off the 15 and the national park system was Zion. Not really sure if its a umbrella or just different sections of the same park.

Looks like he was just saying goodbye to the TJ section (not the 'Wrangler main page') as it will not longer apply to him.

He can't leave! He's hooked like the rest of us.

Yup I had to promise that the Jeep was a "Till death do us part" kind of marriage. It is my last vehicle. And you guys are like a family. I ain't going nowhere but off road.

Swank new ride there Gunner.

Can you do me a favor and measure from the back of the drivers seat to the tailgate and width at the narrowest and widest parts of the rear interior and let me know the numbers?

That's a crucial bit of info for an evil plan that'll I'll need to convince the Admiral.

You got it Milo. I'll have it for you tomorrow. Do you want me to leave out the bump for the sub woofer? It uses a bunch of space right at the door.

The TJ Jeep was running a bit warmer and this weekend at John Bull it started to get hot with the air on. I shut off the a/c and it came right down but it had never done that before. It was 100 outside. Well I took it to the shop and it is getting a new thermostat, fan clutch, radiator, tune up and a fresh cat. Some one is gonna get a really nice Rubicon.

When I sold my 02 TJ I had new seals put in the hard top, it had leaked for years I replaced the back seatbelt that Leo Chewed in half on a long road trip, I had it serviced and the ignition replaced. All items that had needed done for awhile and I never got to it. Funny how I made sure to get them all done before selling it.

A college kid bought it and I wanted to be sure everything was in good working order, I would hope someone would have done the same for me if my kid was purchasing their vehicle

If nothing else, it gives us sellers piece of mind that we've made a good deal :O

Apparently installing an Or Fab tire carrier on the TJ has been the ultimate pain in the ass. Between the Poison Spyder fenders and the custom tail lights, Jeremy has had to fabricate the brackets and be creative. Mike had to go by the shop today and okay some welds, Dennis had a family emergency in Baltimore so he wanted Mikes go ahead. Hopefully it's done and home tomorrow, the driveway looks empty with only one Jeep in it

Looking at it from the buying side, after what looked at and saw out there for a few months, your Jeep is a key buy. Whomever gets it, if they have a clue about jeeps, will be a happy buyer.

Finding a Jeep that is built for off road, drives nicely on the street and in decent shape was a hard find. I think your Jeep will find a nice new home with no problems

Just picked up Mikes TJ, it looks awesome and he's a happy camper

Jeremy had a truck in there with the front end destroyed, I asked if it was from the Huckfest at Pismo. He said the guy was out there 15 min. Took a jump and nose dived.

He's doing what he can to fix it but he normally doesn't work Saturdays. That guys weekend went in the crapper really fast
Knowing Jeremy, he will just say all night and get it done for the guy. I have a feeling there will be a few more looking for repairs this weekend, lol

This town is a zoo, I'm staying home as much as possible this weekend!

Need a little advice folks to avoid a potentially financially dangerous situation.

I need some very minor work done on my 95 wrangler. Clearly JPI is the best choice for where I live and their reputation.

Everyone I know that goes in there becomes addicted to upgrades and improvements. Something about quality work at a price they can afford.

The worry is that if I go over there for some hard top seals. I'll talk to them about some regearing which may well lead to a D44 with a locker. Which will lead to...

So should I:

1, Let it leak and avoid a costly addiction?
2, Take the Admiral with me and hope she says "no" at the proper time? The Admiral has a habit of saying "yes" too often when it comes to my toys. She even buys ammo for me.
3, Put on my Big Boy pants and just go over there and try my best not to ask about other upgrades?

That my friend is funny stuff. I'm in the same situation but different needs. I will not bring the Warden as I will not make it to JPi. I will go there with only the credit card that I know will not have enough to regear.
