Unless the hose is full of holes and the white check valve is broken and/or stuck beyond repair all you need to do is find where it used to go and put it back.

IIRC the hose is on the passanger side, crawl under the jeep and look around the rear diff and up high for where it should go.

Any hose of the same size will work as it is not a pressure hose nor does it carry fuel. It's just a vent for the t-case. Hope this helps.

BTW I just looked in the Q-tech catalog and found nothing. :-(

Ya the check valve(I guess) broke off the tip. And half way down the hose it's a good size rip about 40% around.

Sounds like its time for a new hose but you can mount the hose with a U and point the end down at the ground. Maybe use some 1/4" copper tubing for the U so it stays in place. That is unless you can find the check valve, all it is is a float inside the main body so if it goes under water the float closes off the vent tube keeping water out.

The OEM one will face up so the float inside will work, I remember checking out the one on the rear diff on my old YJ when I had a leaking pinion seal. No worries.

Not sure what trails yet. Lol. I have the Moab trail book being delivered to my sons place. Kinda lagging on that whole thing.

And ya Gunner, Jake is going with me. We are both super excited. Can't wait to see my oldest kids and my grandson and daughter in law. My daughter is gonna head down to Grand Junction from the Denver area. She is not wanting to go camping or jeeping. She may just stay at the house. Lol. She is whining about the cold.

I picked up a vortec 5.3 with harness and 2 ECMs, Console, gas pedal and tranny 4l60 with harness. I'm documenting everything maybe make a DVD and sell it as a instructional video it may take me two years to film, edit and stuff.

I'm going to have to do some research on the tranny to wire in a torque dump system.

Mike told Caleb he was going to the dump yesterday. He gave him a funny look and said, "Papa, I go to dump too!" Mike just laughed, it won't be long and that kid will be doing dump and junk yard runs

It sucks they don't let kids into junkyards anymore. I loved going to the junkyard with my dad.

Does his car seat fit in the back of the TJ? Geri was only 1 month old when her parents strapped her car bed into the back seat of their BMW rally car. They were off and running and she grew up in the back seat of different rally cars. It's a great way to hook em young.
