Well I peeled my diff cover back and it's leaking big time. I just ordered 2 Nodular Iron diff covers from Solid Axle. 65 bucks each plus 20 shipping.

Kind of interesting timing, you peel yours the same time I'm beefing up mine. Glad you got some replacements ordered and can get it fixed quickly.

I spent the day cleaning out the motorhome and shampooing the carpets. Wow, I got 2 bags of stuff for good will out of there. Just extra clothes, dishes and towels that really aren't ever used or needed.

We may get .001 more mpg. now that I've lightened the load a bit Oh, I probably cleaned a good pound or two of dirt from the carpets too. They didn't look that bad, but yuck when I emptied the water

I'll finish up Tuesday after the carpets are dry and then she's ready for Spring & Summer wheeling & boating trips

I was surprised. There were some really cool side trails. One was a total bobsled ride due to the snow runoff. Maybe a hundred feet and kinda steep and narrow. Another really V notch really needed a lot of side wall and tilt to get the right line. All in all a fun day. I wanna go there again.

Yeah I am slowly armoring this thing up. I got the idea from Rob. They have survived the Leaping Jeep and that is good enough for me. Can't you just get a detailer at the local drive thru carwash to do that for you? I hate spring cleaning. We are gonna have to do the boat pretty soon. I'm not looking forward to that at all.

We did Anza and stayed in Borrego Springs. We camped at the Palm Canyon Resort for 3 nights. It was a tough campground. No flat screen.

I have only hiked Anza. It's very nice. I think it's up in the top five of national parks. Unfortunate that most if the wooded areas were burnt in that massive fire.

Owning a Jeep has really brought me to some really beautiful places. Every time I go out I am surprised at the things I see. When I was on the motorcycle I was too focused on the few hundred feet in front of me to enjoy the trip. It was always about the speed.

That's funny walked trough mine today. Not bad it there. I always knew we wound spend time in dirt so I got one that is all linoleum. It's very easy to clean we use runner rugs for comfort. Of coarse ours is very small too only 25' and no slides. It moves pretty good and get about 12 mpg 10 when towing heavy. I love it. Nothing can beat it. Hot showers after a day of exploring or just a safe heaven from the wind on a blow out day.
