You ever see that scene in Alien where the monster pops out thru his stomach? I know how he feels.

Just don't get dehydrated like my dad Bob. Drink gatorade or some type of sports drink that will keep your electrolytes up. Even if you throw it back up, at least your body absorbs some of the nutrients.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that it subsides without becoming the full on flu bug

I buy two gatoraids for $3 on Monday and drink them both that week. It gives you enough electorlites to keep you hydrated. Water is actually bad for you if u sweat a lot because it doesn't replenish what you've lost. I know cuz I had a seizure last year from extreme dehydration.

I drink, just the wrong stuff. Diet Cokes, Crystal Lite, very little water and no sports drinks I can think of.

Those diet cokes are much more dangerous than regular drinks.

Oh Bob, diet drinks are a no no. Maybe you can find a flavored herb tea you like, make it and keep it refrigerated so you can grab that instead.

My dad has hypoglycemia and has had it for 20+ years. The Dr.s say he should have became diabetic ten years or so ago, but his strict diet has prevented it.

I've learned alot of tricks from him and he makes a pitcher of raspberry herb tea, throws a handful of raspberries in it while it's still hot. Throws a couple mint leaves and slice of lemon in also, then puts it in the fridge. He always has some flavor of tea with some fruits in it to drink. All natural with no sugar and it's really good.

The sports drink suggestion was if your getting the flu, although they are much better than diet sodas or crappachinos They do have quite a bit of sugar so you really have to watch it. Even diluting them with water helps.

I'll drink most anything if I can add enough sugar and cream to it.

Shame on you Bob. Put a little agave nectar in your tea, that will give it a little sweetness.

David always tells me: You can have excuses or results, not both

I think I'm the furthest North, So Cal person. I'm directly in the middle so I have a small identity crisis

If I'm going to drive 4 hours to go wheeling, it's going to be South

Thanks Bob He really does exist, you will meet him at the Meet & Greet. He's a good guy, a little on the crazy side but it's necessary for him to put up with me
