That might not be a bad idea. If it's a weekday I can for sure get away if I have no DR appointments. VA gets mighty ticked off if I miss.

I just had a thought. What if he has this rock hungry jeep and we can't follow him. We might all starve out there waiting for a strap to get home.

LOL!

I actually have one in mind. There is a great 4 wheel drive road that runs from Johnson Valley to Pioneer Town. In Pioneer town is a great BBQ place.

I think I'll call it... "Race to the ribs" or "Putt to the Pulled Pork" maybe "Trek to the Tri Tip?" You vegetarians can call it "Sashay to Salad"

No matter what you call it just remember my slogan.

Wheel to eat and eat to wheel. Yeah, I can probably use some therapy...

That might be 60 to 80 miles as the crow flys. That should be fun. Do you drive though Joshua tree.

Very near there. I'm actually up on the hillside between Littlerock and Pearblossom off of Pearblossom Hwy.

What ever the place is sounds good if I'm not on call I'm in. This would be awesome if you lure us into a cantina ran by vampires.

You don't even know if he's gonna do it or when. What if you have a game day. So we all have to ask him when and where?

May would work for me. April 20th is full. A nice long run somewhere would be fun. Especially with ribs on the end of the trail.

Of course it was a boys fault Amanda once broke her arm when she jumped out of the swing and a boy jumped in front of her. I didn't believe her and made her wait a day before taking her to the Dr. She still gives me crap about it

If you like wine you need to bring the wifey and make a weekend trip up my way. Wine country of the Central Coast We've got fantastic wineries everywhere.

You bring the Jeep and you can drive out to the Dunes too. Then hit up one of the restaurants for Clam Chowder and watch the sunset. We live in a great place to take a little vacation
