Lets try and keep this Mod happy and kid friendly.:punk: A place to hang out and talk jeeps, family, work, whatever. Watch the language and topics so we don't get shut down.:nonono: If you decide to do a run then post a new run thread so this doesn't get cluttered. And above all keep it fun.

Yeah those beautiful shocks can come with a big price tag..lol What makes me laugh is the guys that buy those things and then leaves them hanging down way below the bottom of the axle...frickin smart right there..lol :lmao:
Hey we can't bash them to bad they get all mad like that one fella running triple bypasses and 10" coil overs. Still don't get why that small of a coil over lol

But but jeep made them that way. Why they spent a Bazillion dollars designing their rock catchers, I mean shock mounts. What makes us think we could do better? Pure Sacralege I tell you. If God wanted Jeeps to have flat bellies and smooth axles he would have created them that way.

I noticed you did not wrap the skid around the bottom of the control arm bracket. Do you have any other pictures, like a side view. I need to do this to mine. Passenger side has been beaten up pretty good.
The main idea was to just truss the brackets to hopefully prevent them from bending again ... plus each time I've caught rocks was on the front of the bracket which these skids cover (you can see the rock rash on the end of the control arm which is now behind that skid) ... this way was the simplest way to get the job done

Oh yeah the guy that had suspension that looked like it belongs on a T-bucket...lol
Didn't he also say that he doesn't run rock trails because his axles are the wrong width.

Didn't want over that 2 1/2" of lift lol Some people get so hung up on that low center of gravity bull crap and actually doesn't know what works
Some folks actually know what they are doing with that kind of build ... these are identified by a 4400 or 4600 number on the side of their rig

Some do whatever their builders suggest ... And just throw money at it ... they usually have a certain forum's sticker on their windshield

Some people are just copying what they see with the race rigs without knowing why the race cars use them ... they usually have huge tires and little lift and think that this is the only thing that makes a LCG rig ... but couldn't actually tell you where their COG is

Other people say they are doing a LCG rig because they can't afford a bigger lift and don't want to admit it ... This would be the category I'm in ... LOL
