Hi socal jeepers. I'm a newb to this forum and forums in general. I just ordered a 2.5" teraflex coil lift with fox shocks and hub centric wheel spacers. I also ordered a front bumper and side steps both smitttbilt. I will install the lift this friday with my dad. I will be following the teraflex install video. Basically I'm just requesting any tips as far as greasing or lubing anything; or any other important factors I should take care of while I do the install. Also I live in covina so if anybody wants to have a jeep meet or even help me out with my install I would appreciate it. Thanks jeepers, after two years I'm excited to finally give my jeep some love!

Should look pretty good after you get that all on. Make sure you center the steering wheel to keep the ESP light at bay

You had a jimmy right. That had a passenger side drop? If so what transfercase did it have?
Yeah it's passenger side drop, it had a 700R4/NP208 in it. I swapped in a hydraulic clutch SM465/clocked and twin sticked NP205 in it. Btw I still have it back in NC haven't touched it since I've been in the Army.

Edit: dodge rams/ram chargers, CJs, GM full size trucks/k5s/suburbans all have passenger side drop Tcases. CJs with the dana 300 is a damn good tcase, the 205 is heavy as crap, but I think they discontinued the 3:1 low max gears/case. Dodges generally have a smaller spline count too.

One thing I need to do is swap in a 32input on the Tcase and and main shaft of the trans. If you get a 241 it's going to be out of a 89-newer and has an electronic speedo, before that all were mechanical. If you can fine a 3/4 doner vehicle it will have 32 spline input in the tcase. 1/2 tons were 10 splines with a coupler between the tcase input and output of the trans that can break.

I'm really a GM guy driving a jeep lol.

Thanks for the tip. Exactly what kind of advice I need. I only know as much as the intructions will tell me.
Welcome! And this is a great place to get your questions answered. Great people here. Very helpful. Although there are some differences in opinion. Takes what fits you and your budget. We all have that issue. Happy Jeepin!!

I'm finding more passenger drops and cheap too. The problem is I have to change transfercase now too. I was planning on going with some frankincase that Steve puts together at a later date. All this gears and splines making my head hurt. It's not like I have a gillion dollars to use as crazy glue.
