Means you better be good at tuning because detonation, is going to eat those pistons alive. Btw you need gears not HP to crawl, but still pretty cool idea. The turbos for the 3.8 make stock JKs with 35s pull the front tires lol
Well it starts at 6 psi. Which is where it would probably stay unless (if i even did turbo it) i added an intercooler then it would be 10 psi. Also its an 05' so im good there. And it comes with a tuner/programmer for the ecu. And correct that you dont need hp for what we do, but you do need torque which is one reason why the l6 does so good. Its almost instant torque, especially for a gas engine. The turbo puts it at 225 tq at 2000 rpm. Which is about where we normally are when rock crawling. (which would be bad for rob since hes all skibny pedal lol.) and how B.A. would it be to pick up at least the drivers front off the line with 35's when its some Ricey little Honda next to you lol

If you jumped to 10 psi it would need to be put on a chassis dyno. A mail order tune cant compensate for that. If you used a mail order tune it would be generic and not give you the performance. Jeep used shitty computers that are fine for any naturally aspirated mods you wanted to do but cant really dial anything in. They make bolt in turbo systems that have a vast majority accounted for and tuned for but properly they need yo be chassis tuned and until dodge/jeep updated their ECMs in 2003 you're kinda screwed. Because they barely pass emissions as it is and there ECM done have the bit drive to be tuned accurately. No shit they used dinosaur technology till 2003 lol

Edit: really its all in the gearing screw horsepower till you build a buggy

NICE! I'm headed to the bank next week to see about a few bucks for my overhaul on both axels hopefully in time for summer!!

So...end result: Because I'm a Navy Vet, I decided to go through USAA. $73 a month note on a $3K loan for 4 years. I can pay it down more whenever I feel like it (which I'll do easily). I don't like having any monthly bills. Had a A+ credit rating at 800+ so got 7.49%. I'll come up with the rest of the cash on my own. This allows me to wheel how often I'm used to if we get Furloughed...THAT's Most important to me.

I got one quote on the parts and labor and going to get one more Monday. The plan is to order the Atlas TC this week. They build to order, so I won't see it for 2 months.

And that's the update for the day

Guaranteed work is pretty important huh? Especially as hard as we push our rigs. It's nice if the finished job fails, that it can be fixed again for free. It's why I got my extended warranty. And have all my work done here at the dealer.

I actually bought it to go with my dinner tonight. I don't always drink wine, but when I do I drink by the bottle!

I'll probably pick up a "few" bottles for M-day too, and yes, I bought it solely because of the kitty haha

You'll have to let me know how it tastes! I tend to stick to Merlot for camping b/c it doesn't need to be chilled. Got a Robert Mondavi for Miller. But I like all wines for the most part...and yea, a bottle goes down pretty well

Hun you're overcomplicating it, its literally a bolt in deal and you'll have more satisfaction of doing it yourself, it will really take all of 5 hrs at the most. Like no lie, we shall talk about it at miller

Robert Mondavi is pretty good wine if I remember correctly. It has been a while. But then again, I liked Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill for breakfast when I camped, way back when I was a drinking man. Lol

It's fairly sweet, but it goes down extremely well. Let's just say that I now have half a bottle of wine We can have a wine party on M-day. It'll be soooo much fun! Fireball too! Yah, I'm feeling nice.

I had a very bad experience with red wine. If I drink red wine I have to have a good food to compliment it.
