Cool! Hopefully we'll have a set date by today. June 28th is best for me... I'm still in the hole with leave from back surgery.

I'll get my vacation request in tomorrow. June 28, 29, 30, and July 1. So yeah, let's hammer this date down right now. Your in, Jess & Parker are in, I'm in. Come on folks, step up.

I placed it on my calendar, but will remain tentative until I sort out other family plans. Would love to hang with you guys again, as Calico was a blast even if I only made it for a few hours. I will plan on camping Friday/Sat nights with small tent if anyone is willing to share a spot???! Thanks. Andy

It's Jess's party, so if that date works for her, then the weekend of June 28, 29, & 30 it is. WooHoo!!! Looks like I won't have to wait until August to Wheel!!! Lol

I know right? I'll reserve my spot the minute my boss signs off on my vacation. Lol. Should be by this weekend.

Now, let's start talking trails. All of them? Yeah.... That's what I'm thinking. Lol

Ya, we need to talk about that...you know I'm not real familiar with getting us back from some of those trails..Really, someone else who goes to BB more often than we do should lead..if nothing else, I have the book. Holcomb for sure Saturday and Gold Mountain for Sunday? Maybe tie something else into Holcomb..

Do me a favor?? I just put almost $2K on my card last week for my rig and another $900 today for my freakin tooth. You reserve the site and I'll give you cash when we get there for sharing the spot ?

I've got Forest Service maps of the entire area. And most of the trails have a distinct beginning and end, ending up at a main road like Holcomb Valley Rd, or Big Pine Flat Rd. or they run one way in, and back out. Besides, I like getting lost with you!!!

No problem. Just keep your strap handy. Lol. I'm hoping to have my winch on by then. Less dust up front anyways.

Oh wait, I hate leading. I always forget there's people behind me. Lol

I can get us to Holcomb and Gold Mountain...if we wanted to connect another trail to Holcomb, I start second guessing which way..there's John Bull which might be a push for some of the other rigs; including yours ....and then there's Dishpan...and Heartbreak..

John Bull is not even as hard as what we did in JV. There's only one or two spots where I might struggle a little, and you and I both have straps for that. Plus I've always got my skinny pedal. Oh wait, I'm trying NOT to bust stuff anymore. Lol

Holcomb, Gold Mtn., White Mtn., Dishpan, these are all doable for everyone. Sounds like the beginning of a plan. Oh yeah, Heartbreak, or Pontiac Sluice as the locals know it would be Awesome!!! Good group photo op.

I can do that! I'm away from a computer all day today, so if you want to find the spot you can just let me know which one to reserve and I'll take care of it right when I get home.

Not sure which one we should go with..
http://www.recreation.gov/webphotos/...70532_HANN.pdf

Kind of dont really want to be around more people than need be. Seems every time I do Hanna, I get stuck next to a crying baby! Drives me nuts.....and the primary reason I really dont like regular camping. Too many people for me.

We can pick one and then everyone else can follow suit nearby..

What do you think about site 72 ? Maybe we can take over that section ?

http://www.recreation.gov/webphotos/...70532_HANN.pdf

Or site #61 may be better?

I'm looking at them now, its $24 a night for just a tent style site, and there are 67 open.

Edit if we could get enough people to claim the 72-78 sites we should be fine. I'm going to call and see if they give military discounts too... Bc there are rumors is free to military lol

As far away from the camp host as possible I'd say. Crying babies I can handle. Whiny camp hosts are a different story. Buzzkill. Lol

Looks good to me, we definitely want to get as far away from the "normal" people as possible!
