I would much rather invest in a D44 and build that up than build my 35. Long term it's cheaper, and I'd rather do it completely right the first time.

I'm feeling the need to be driving my Jeep. It's so nice out. Tops down and doors/windows off. We could go to Cold Springs Tavern for some live music, killer Tri Tip sandwiches and a beer. Someone make the drive!!

Or you could drive to Riverside and come to the Mopars in May car show and check out all the classic Muscle cars. I've got a couple of SRT-8 cars out here, and am talking shop with all the gear heads.

Thanks Robbie, but I'm looking more along the lines of a nice relaxing Pretty ocean side drive up the coast. No miserable LA traffic for me.

I think I'll go to Carp and visit my Gma's grave for a bit. Make a pit stop at my usual stomping grounds; maybe even get a burger at The Spot. Famous burgers for decades..Yum-o!

Lol. No LA traffic. Come across the desert and down the Pass. Lol. Just kidding. Have a nice drive, and a great burger.

You know Rob, I think I just might go the shaft and lock it method. I'm not going to need a completely built d44 for a long time. I guess I'll aim to get that done along with possibly 35s and gears sometime next year

Nothing like a gorgeous drive jeep completely open ocean side. Got so many waves and huge smiles from everyone driving everything and anything. Sure picks up the spirits. ;-) the military were especially happy on the road today..driving their tanks.. Was fun. Just what I needed! Passing on the burger though!

No doubt. Instead, I'm working a car show with a bunch of people who think that just because they bought a fast car once, that suddenly that makes them experts in all things Mopar. Lol

Car show is done, and so am I. Lol. Been on my feet since 7 am. I'm exhausted. Saw some sweet old Mopars today though. They go fast, we go anywhere. That's what I was telling them all day. Lol

I get confused sometimes when people ask " so, do you really take it out." Haha
I say " hell yea!" Tell some stories of calico etc. I forget people don't know that wheeling exists !

Isn't that freakin ridiculous?! I'm like; look at my rig! There's rock rash on the tires and character marks everywhere. I get asked that question just about weekly..I always just shake my head and chuckle. As soon as I tell them yea, then all the questions come. Had some guy ask me how much I'd sell her for. Told him what I bought her for and then all the mods and how much it all costs. He became speechless at that point. The average non-wheeling person is clueless.

How's your back doing?

Worked on top of the RV this weekend and in the next day or so we'll be putting a food menu for the weekend--yeah I know "meal plan?" Yes we like to plan things like that out...it's what nerds like us do!

We aren't the pickle and bear for breakfast kind of ppl.

Nerds--but I have to tell you of a customers reaction when I showed him some of our videos on Youtube. Too funny, especially if you see this big guy, a tough construction looking kind of guy. Even Vanessa got a good chuckle from his reaction!
