How much lift did you go with? And does it have a t case lowering kit/bracket/etc?

3" lift and I lowered the t-case by 1" I definitely understand the importance of drive line angles seeing as it's my main focus with my schooling.

At this point I'm positive I need to lower the t-case more. I'll do that tomorrow for what will hopefully be a quick fix. I'll worry about sye, dc shaft, and adjustable arms after that.

I knew jeeps are sensitive for driveline angles but that's ridiculous. Normally if its off you get a vibration, ya know. I'd just check the joints maybe put some grease-able ones in it next time and pump the full every week.

I have grease-able ones in it right now, I completely forgot about that. I guess I'll grease em up tomorrow before I do anything else.

Word... Lol its cool man everyone assumes worst case scenario right off the bat. But I've put 4 inch lifts on TJs and just dropped the t-case an inch and been fine. Normally those will vibrate over 70 though.

When you go over 2" of lift, you need a SYE, a CV DS, and to adjust your pinion angle. Then there's no need to drop your T-Case. It's how the professionals do it. And no shakes or wobbles at speed.

It's on my to-do list. I just don't have the extra $900 to do it right now.

Good luck! How sad is it that we hate what we do so much and have to suffer so much daily? Horrible for our health and well being. Today is one of those days that I physically feel sick to my stomache.

Are you going to be around this Saturday? I'm not sure, but there's a chance I will be going thru sometime in the later afternoon. If so maybe we can meet and I'll buy you a drink, appetizer or early dinner

I hear you. Just the thought of this place brings a tightness to the chest. I'm waiting for the inevitable stroke or aneurism. Hopefully not before BB though. Lol

I should have everything fixed on the Jeep within the next couple of days (hopefully). My buddy wasn't in the shop today, so I have to wait until tomorrow.

Mine goes back in the shop for that damn wiring gremlin. If he doesn't resolve it this time, I need to go to plan B.

I'm 99% sure it's a problem in your steering column, I don't remember what the stupid part is called though.

Sorry Bud..but going to leave this one up to the experts who have decades of experience.

Possible ignition switch..possible too much crud built up in there causing a bad connection, possibly 100 other possibilities. Either way, it needs to be resolved.

I looked at everything pretty thoroughly while we were out there. At first I thought you had a loose wire somewhere just randomly making contact, but all your wiring looked great. Checked the resistance of everything and that looked good. I've done more research since I've gotten back, and if it's not the ignition switch then I don't deserve to get my A6 lol. I really am interested to see if my diagnosis is correct, it would go great on my resume!

I'm guessing that if you troubleshot it in the field, and were unable to isolate and correct the problem, then you need to stay in school a while longer. Lol
