No worries Lisa! You should put together a meet and greet up your way Make sure Dad can attend too!

That would be great, but I don't think many people would want to drive this far. Plus not too many want to take their Jeeps to the beach. I can mull it over and put out a feeler thread. Up here it's best in the early Fall, all the kids are back in school so the tourists are less and the weather is warmer.

Heck you know, you live in the same type of area

I'd make that drive. And I love driving my Jeep on the beach. There's a really cool gas station that has an undercarriage wash drive through car wash. No more salt. Lol

We don't have to go to the beach..actually..I'm one of those who won't take my rig on the beach too..hell..it's hard enough to maintain my rig living a block away from the beach. I thought maybe somewhere beachside or with a view; like I had after my back surgery. Food for thought! What about the guys north of you? Meet new Jeep peeps?

That may be a good idea, plus we would be right there by the beach onramp in case some people wanted to head down there.

Rob, there are a couple car washes like that now, they are very popular on Sunday afternoons.

Should have been here today, it was 77. It's going to get warmer over this weekend, the problem is when it's warm it gets more crowded

I had the opportunity to fly in one from Thailand to Diego Garcia, to Turkey, then to Germany, way back in 1984 when I was in the Army. That was the longest flight of my life. I never got off the plane. And I thought I was deaf when we finally got to Rhein Main Airbase. Good Times!!!

I sat with the boomer on the tail end of a KC 135 and watched him guide that fueling basket on a F-18 mid flight. That was cool stuff. i could practically see the pilot's eyelashes we were so close!

That would be cool. I sat on a hard wooden jumpseat for like 18 hours. In the dark hold, wearing earplugs, and trying unsuccessfully to sleep. Lol

I wonder who will drive the pink Jeep?

Okay folks, check this out--should we get something like this set up on one or our next runs?

I say, let the young ones go first.

I've got a big pot in the Jeep that I stick my jumper cables in. I'll just wear it over my head and drive blind. Lol
