And they also make the best SYE in the industry.

No, the cross member wasn't replaced, at least I'm pretty sure it wasn't. Now I'll have to double check tomorrow

They have a budget one and a beefy as hell skid plate package. I like how its all compatible with their bolt on long arm systems.

I paid a good chunk of money and it's a nice product. Dennis said it was the first one he installed on the new JKU and it was a bit of a pain. But he was really happy with the final result.

It has a larger oil drain hole than some others he's installed. He said it fit's up more snug than the Rock Hard skids and that's what he installs the most.

We did discover one of the brackets up front has to be installed on the passenger side instead of the drivers. It was hitting on something and causing it to almost stall. He moved it and called the guys at Poly Perf. to let them know, they said they will revise the instructions.

Other than that, they handled everything at Calico perfectly. They gave me a great piece of mind with all the scraping and smashing that went on

Lol oh no don't its $1k for the budget and $1300 with Cross member kit. And that's before powder coating or taxes. I'd love to run that setup but that's way out of budget right now.

Well then there must be a cross member under there too

And it was powder coated.........the math adds up after that.

I can't remember my password for WF so my only access is on my iPad, which is usually hidden somewhere or I can't find it one or the other. So I have no idea what is going on anymore

So what's going on! Lori what the hell happened!
Any wheeling before big bear?
How's everyone doing??!??!!!
Miss the group!
Annnnnnndddd... Hmm I think that's it.
Oh and I quit smoking using one of those "break time" vapor things, it's nice

If anyone would like, our house is on the parade route for the 4th of July, parade starts at 10-11 am. Marathons about 6 am.
Point is there is NO way to find parking in the area so night before is recommended and we will have SOME "VIP" parking. The parade is neat, but it's the party in the front yard, that is gated the BBQ, and the good times that makes HB 4th awesome! Then we usually ride bikes down to the pier (under a mile away) for fireworks.
Point is y'all are more than welcome!

Miller is a little far for a day trip, I have a lot to do before the 4th so I am working everyday on the "honey do" list. Was looking for a break ha..
I was thinking about hitting Johnson valley. I've never been! It's way closer to me too. If I don't have a trailer and a bunch of gear, JV and calico is only maybe 2 hour drive.
Miller = 4 ish
Maybe I' go play on cleghorn or something this week, it's about 45 min. Idk. What I DO know is I need a little break from all the DIY. House transformation.

Well shoot dude, I've been wanting to do some runs in sandiego. If we have the room, you always have a place to crash here SD is only a hour and a half to two hours from here. Could roll down day before and just do a day trip. Head out next day. We will even lead it ha. That goes for any of the WF family. sucks for us too cause if I could I would wheel daily!! But I don't want to wheel solo and everyone is either far away or for some reason has some kind of holier than thou attitude haha

Did my u joints today and noticed a small dent in my driveshaft as well as what looks like a missing weight. The closest driveshaft shop is 40 minutes away, so it looks like I'll be taking care of that on Friday.

I'll bet some of the potholes down there had a hand in that

I'm taking the TJ in Thursday to be aligned and have the wheels balanced, just to have piece of mind it's done.

I have a friend that bent a rim on his $120,000. Mercedes on a pothole in San Diego. He took multiple photos of the pothole, different angles, cars swerving to avoid it, etc. He wrote multiple letters to the City, County and Public Works Dept. He sent copies of the receipt for the wheel and pictures of the damage along with the date, time and every detail imaginable.

He received a check for reimbursement of the wheel. He was so shocked, he said he really didn't think they would do anything. Funny thing is, they didn't repair the pothole. You would think that would be the cheapest route to go

I'm pretty sure there's not a chance in hell I could get a Jeep wheel reimbursed in this County. I would probably get a card telling me it was a good joke

I think I found the first negative with the TJ, the Mastercraft seats. They are super comfy, but getting in and out alot is a pain. Luckily I'm flexible, with the Jeep so high and the sides of the seat so high, it's a little tricky to get out. Getting in is easier, you just sort of fall into them, lol. It's not pretty, but I can manage pretty good
