Well, spent the day with Ron at his shop..couldn't drag myself home lol We spent some time looking at Jeep stuff of course..I broke down and ordered me some Arched MetalCloak Fenders Been wanting them for a long time. Just said screw it and ordered them. Ron is a bad influence!!

I've decided to just go ahead and get the Ford 8.8 for my rear too. Re-gearing to 4.88's and putting 35's on....Thought I could wait until after the Furlough..well; we see how well that's working out!

Because I'm doing all of this, I'm selling stuff. Thought I'd put it out here to you guys first before I post an official thread and ads.

Front gears-4.56--$100
5 MTR's/ 33x12.50 - 1 is brand new; the other four are around 50%--$ 600
Complete G2 Chromoly rear axle, Dana 35, 30 spline, 4.56 gears, ARB Locker--$1800

Let me know if there's any interest guys!

Joanzie is going to kick ass!

4.1 going in a little later and I'm beefing up the front axle as well

That's badass. So jealous. Thats my eventual goal. Id totally pick up that rear axle from you if not for the fact you have those squiggly springs...

Also Rob, let me know about those $6200 Rubicons. I would also like one.

That boy is getting you into all kinds a trouble, good for you get some nice chrome bling for inside the front axle. 35's are a lot harder on the running gear.My stock shafts lasted about 3-4 wheelin trips before the cups started spinning

I know right?

I don't remember exactly what Ron said about the front axle, but it's costing $1000 to do it..what we're doing will make the front axle just about indestructible. I ain't fooling around!

If I had a note every month, you'd never see me on the trails. No money for that plus wheeling.

I hear you, but I'm still contemplating a new one. With the lifetime wrap warranty. I can dream can't I? Lol

If I could afford a monthly note plus have money to wheel, I would already have a Rubicon. Now, I'm just pretty much converting my rig into one for way less money.

That is about as cool as it gets! Good for you.

I got two words for you.....

BUILD

THREAD

Ron, are you listening? Make that girl post up a build thread.

Remember the line in Jaws when the guy says, "We're gonna need a bigger boat."

Well when I read Lori's plans I think to myself, "She's gonna need bigger rocks."

It is going to be cool And yes, I'll post a build thread. MetalCloaks should be here between 3-4 weeks. Ron is ordering my 8.8 tomorrow for me and he'll be ordering 5.13's, as I'm getting his 4.88's (Thank you baby! ) Tires will go on at the same time. I think the Arched MC fenders look better sitting on top of 35's instead of 33's. I need to sell all of my stuff!

Dennis was putting a set of those fenders on a white JKU a couple weeks ago when I was there. He says, "here" and when I turn around he shoves a fender at me. I instantly thought oh crap it's going to be heavy. But it was so light it shocked me. They were aluminum and he had just had them powder coated along with the bumpers, NICE STUFF!!!
Joanzie is gonna be even hotter than she is now
