Well we're sadly in our way home We were having so much fun we decided to stay Sunday night and wheel gold mountain with Dwight & Linda & Aaron. We love Dwight & Linda, I owe Lori a big hug for introducing us.
Gold Mtn. Was fun! It was pretty messed up in a couple spots after the massive storm on Saturday night. We made it thru and Dwight got a sliced tire, it was an easy change and we headed to town for lunch at the brewery.
John Bull on Sat. Was fun, pretty tough in one section but everyone made it thru with no tugs.
There was one spot that we were pretty tippy and just to be safe I pulled the mirror in. Figured if we flopped I didn't want it to break off, lol. It actually would have made a funny explanation as to why the GoPro video all if a sudden went sideways
All in all an amazing weekend, mike LOVES his Jeep and had a blast. We meet some more great people and spent time making awesome memories, what else can we ask for in life

True. Although 1 of the 3 came back this morning, the other 2 are supposedly done. We were just holding out for a lower rate so we could all make a little more on the back end. Lol

Cool

That's just stupid how they sell people cars knowing they're going to most likey come back. Dumb.

On a cooler note, I made 4 Wheel Parts Offroad Magizine Again! I wrote in giving praise to Jon in the T.O. store. They printed it; and labeled it HIGH PRAISE AND LOOKING FOR A NON-DESK JOB!

When I wrote in, I also told them a little about me and how I wanted to work in the offroad industry as a test drive dummy for new parts, Jeep commercials, spokes woman, etc. It's the July issue and you can view it digitally by going to www.offroadadventures.com/digital You have to register which takes 2 seconds to be able to view the magazines digitally, but it's cool! And Free. That article is on page 54. Jon was super appreciative and it's helped him in some ways.....so, mission accomplished for me, and very cool for Jon!

Was able to copy the file..this is the article..neat huh?

HIGH PRAISE AND LOOKING FOR A NON-DESK JOB

Hi, I just want corporate to know about THE BEST employee you guys have - Jon Snyder at your Thousand Oaks, CA store. He goes above and beyond the call of duty. I've been buying from you guys for years. Bought my rig stock and have put thousands into it. I actually made your Off-Road Adventures magazine in March 2011 issue. Jon has always been passionate about not only what he sells, but his customer service is nothing less than unbelievably outstanding! Just wanted the big guys in corporate to know this. I live, eat and breathe my Jeep (JoanZie). Jon "Gets Me." Two thumbs up for Jon... the guy deserves a HUGE raise... or better yet... his own store. Really, I'm not kidding! On a side note... I'm looking for a way to earn a living in the off-road industry, but not behind some desk. Options? Test drive dummy for new parts/Jeeps, ad spokeswoman, promo girl, Jeep commercials, rock crawler instructor, tour guide, etc... Nothing ventured, nothing gained! Happy Wheeling!!

I thought so..never would have known if Jon didn't tell me. He didn't go into specifics, but the letter has helped him out some. So that's cool That was the whole reason I wrote in. That guy just Rocks it.

I am pretty sure she is going with the Tera-Lo. She has done a TON of research for at least a year that I am aware of. She wheels hard and knows what she wants and what her budget is and has made choices.

So whether it is the T-Lo or an Atlas or a 241 combo or some other weird combo PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't tell her she is doing it wrong.

Time will tell, I am not a happy terralo owner. It works as long as it lasts. Will definitely make her Jeep crawl nice. She'll figure out the drawbacks.
Several of my friends chucked theirs because of failures, Broke mine once got fixed under warranty. Love the Atlas in my other Jeep.
Barbie gurl knows how I feel about a terralo, yet it's the easiest, cheapest solution

I know Art..you and a few other friends at MJR...but I also know a couple that have had zero problems for years and years. Ron is a perfect example; Barbie girl's boyfriend. He's been running his for I don't know how long.. Ron-tell him!

So, I'm moving forward. I will definitely be mindful when crawling. I'll have 4.88's in and still be locked as well. I want to do some of that really good stuff at CB. I'll probably use it there more than anywhere else.

What are your thoughts on an Atlas on a NP231?

And thanks for that BB map..pretty cool!! You're the bestest!

We're all leaving for Big Bear Friday after work. Mike is coming out Saturday morning. Looks like an awesome run and I can't wait. Come out Sunday and do something with us

My parts are ordered Jose. But Joanzie will be done before my next run.

This is how these conversations ALWAYS go.

Jeeper Im so jazzed I just installed an OR-Fab bolt in cage

Forum If you are going to use a bolt in cage you should have gone with HardRock

Jeeper Im so jazzed I just installed a HardRock bolt in cage

Forum Bolt in? You should have gone with a weld in cage

Jeeper - Im so jazzed I just installed a weld in A to Z Fab cage

Forum You should have gone with GenRight

Jeeper - Im so jazzed I just installed GenRight cage

Forum For the money you should have had a custom cage built

Jeeper - Im so jazzed I just had a custom cage built

Forum You should have used CroMo tubing

Jeeper Im so jazzed I just had a custom cage built with all CroMo tubing

Forum Needs more triangulation
Forum Why? Do you race NASCAR? Seems like a waste of money. Simple OR-Fab bolt in cage is more than enough for most rolls/flops

Doesnt matter if we are talking cages, t-cases, tires, gears, radios whatever, the pattern is always the same.

Where's the " Man, I can't wait to see you on the trails with all that stuff!!!! "

There's a reason why there's so many choices, and companies are still in business.

Just trying to help advise a fellow jeeper about a better, less expensive product and I get my arse reamed. The Riddlers retail for about $110, the Poison Spyders $89. For someone who won't pay $35 to camp where there's a toilet and water, I figured $20 savings on a far superior product might be a useful reccomedation. I'm not your average "forum member" as modding jeeps is what my life is. So when I recommend a particular part or manufacture, it's because I've either tried it myself, or tried it on customers rigs, and watch the results. As far as the covers go, PSC doesn't make ford parts, so your 8.8 will need to be sourced elsewhere anyway. Sorry for the attemp to help.
