What kind of church you belong too? I would like for my family to join something similar. Our church is kinda boring.

In love all over again...

So, wife and I went to hike up Mt. Rubidoux on Sunday and on our way back to my Jeep I fell in love! Wife understood and had no problem with it, heck she even couldn't deny she was beautiful. I would love to have one of these to play with around town.

I would have liked to congratulate whoever owns this on such a great looking CJ.

Have to agree with you there Bernie. That is a cute CJ. But just around town? Oh No... I'd wheel it. Lol

I would eventually break down and have to introduce it to dirt and some rocks. It would just hurt too much to mess up a nice looking CJ like this doing crazy bonus point stuff.

See if I had a Jeep as nice as this one, it would mean my rubi has turned into a nice gatekeeper Jeep, almost buggy like.

I need to play the Lottery!!

Happy birthday to ME!

BTW family...my Rubi is sprouting a custom aluminum skid plate for my transmission and some LED lights. I can't wait to get her back all blinged up.

That's an awesome Jeep, I call my dad's Jeep cute all the time just to get to him

Lori, sorry you had to go back to work. How does your back feel? Don't you have to sit alot at work?

My excitement for the day was reaching a long time goal. Before knee surgery my 1 rep max for deadlift was 175, I tried repeatedly to get 185 with no luck. It's been a sore spot for me since I don't take failure very well.

Tonight I got my 185 I changed my grip a bit and it wasn't as tough as I remember. I was going to try 190, but we did quite a few reps of different weight building up to the 185 and my knee was getting pretty shaky.

I'm so excited to finally reach that goal, it's been almost a year of trying with a few months off due to my knee.

How is your Dad's Jeep coming along Lisa? Please tell him I said hello

My back is fine..it's my left side that's still numb that gets irritated from sitting too long..and ya, that's all I do is sit. Hate it.

As for your goal- that's Killer! Sometimes the body just needs an extended rest

I haven't talked to Dad in about a week, I will probably have lunch with him Thursday. My friend Steve did look at it and was going to fix it, I'm not sure the scheduling though. Dad was re-doing the seats, he said they needed different foam. The benefits of owning an upholstery shop is being able to remake things you don't like.

Did the Dr. release you to work full time or part time? I would think if he knows you sit alot he would limit your hours. At least it's an excuse to get up and go for a walk or do something to move. Tax season's used to destroy my back and neck, sitting over a keyboard and desk for 12 hours a day was brutal. The only good thing was the bathroom was down stairs, I made many potty runs, lol.

All that t-case means is anythng I would have thought twice about trying, and then did it anyways; well, I won't give it the extra thought when the Atlas goes in

I'm back F/T unfortunately..I just keep playing the lotto and praying somewhere down the line, my dream job will present itself. Or at least one I enjoy.

And while I may take the occasional bypass, don't think I won't continue to follow you all over the trails. Atlas or not. Lol. I still say it's mostly driver anyway. And that's why I follow. You challenge me.

Bernie, Rich and Keith- chance of rain Friday night and pretty windy for a tent. I'm going to keep my eyes on the weather..I am not going to have a sleepless miserable night like I did at Miller....TBD

Edit: Damn--and 28 freakin degrees.

I have no interest in "camping" in the rain. Even with the RV that means just sitting inside, no camp fire.

Camping is not camping without a camp fire. IMO.

Anyway, it is supposed to be nice and sunny on Saturday. So my prediction, based on almost 50 years of living in So Cal, is that if it does rain, it will be light and it will rain Thur night into Fri AM and by the time we get there the skies will be clear Friday afternoon and into the evening.

Well guys I got the RV ready for camping this weekend so I will be camping out Friday and Saturday. From what I've seen it should only rain (30%) on Thursday. I have no problem staying in the RV if needed and figure out what to do inside while watching satellite TV. Hence Glamping!

I would rather be there since Friday evening than drive out Saturday all day.

Well, guys, I'm going to play it by ear. Camping isn't camping without a campfire as Rich says.. Right now, we have this.. Lucerne Valley Weekend Weather Forecast - weather.com

If it stays like that, I'll be coming Saturday AM early. I'm used to getting up at 4am for work, so no big deal. I'll get there while you guys are having coffee and set up. I'll keep you posted.
