Cool. We went right past some of that on our snow run. Beautiful country, but ours was fresh snow. No mud. At least not out front. Lol

Alrighty then, selling cars, making money. If I can't be on the trail, I might as well be here. What's everyone else up to today?

I thought of asking you when we spoke last week but then you mentioned where you were. It was a lot of fun plowing through some of the snow.

It would have been nice to have you there. Although I had a blast, I missed my better half on this run.

Rob, that's how I've always felt about our boat. If you knew half the stories of bad weather, near disasters and amazing memories we've had in our boat you would see the similarities to your Jeep.

Mike was a workaholic, so bad that the kids and I wouldn't see him for 3-5 days straight. He would leave before we woke and return home after midnight. We laid down the law and told him we were buying a boat and every Sunday going to the lake for family time. He was outnumbered and we went shopping.

The kids talk all the time about how many great weekends we had on the lake, those memories stand out for them. Now my grandson will spend this summer in the boat making new memories.

Problem is, he's a Jeep addict already. Lol, he threw a fit at the gym and wouldn't let Amanda take him home in her car. He saw the Jeep and had to ride with Dama in the Eep Guess we'll be splitting our fun time between the boat and Jeep.....the best of both worlds

Explains why I suck at wheeling

But it is a good excuse to practice.

I KNOW. Actually starting to tick me off a bit cause it has been following me around.

Lame. Obviously the only fix is to wheel more.

I think maybe you should just flop and get it over with. Then snatchblock yourself back up and finish out the run...I mean, that's what I did

No thanks. But if/when that happens it is truly no big deal. Coolest rigs I have ever seen ALL have wheeling related body damage.

I'm thinking you now need to flop twice on the passenger side to even things out.

X2..and FTR, its ONE flop under my belt. Almost 2 years ago. Just b/c you lean a little on the side doesn't mean it's a flop. But I understand your confusion b/c you weren't there either time, and you've never done it

That is all

Although I wouldn't put it so harshly as they did, the truth Rich is that you do need to just go out and do it. Have faith in the spotter and go slow and don't be hesitant to ask for a spotter either.

Unlike Lorie, we have a huge advantage with our Jeeps. We can go slow up and over things better than her Jeep can. That I do believe was a factor in why she flopped/went sideways, or whatever it's called in CB.

Rob is another good one to follow...he shows us how not to go up things. Balls to thewall!! More skinny pedal is sometimes the solution but not on most obstacles.

I have gotten stuck so many times now that I usually expect I'll be pulled off of some stupid rock at one point or another. But I have learned a lot in the last year plus that I have been wheeling hard--that is wheeling hard stuff.

Ohhh you know I love you guys. Harsh?? Really? I was just joking around.. Didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings. I apologize.. Now, am I forgiven and can we just go wheeling? :-P
