It was cool catching up with you guys. It took me a while, but somehow, I always find Lorie.

My niece had a ton of fun and now wants a Jeep. Letting my 9 year old drive my Jeep was a little stressful, but way worth it. Future Jeeper for sure.

Looking forward to the camping party!

So I pressure washed the tire, rim, and axle clean. And it has not leaked a drop since Saturday night. My mechanic shrugged, and said if it happens again we'll pull the shaft and check the seals. But there's no sense in coming out of pocket $100.00 for something that's no longer occurring. Now to replace a tire. And put on my winch. WooHoo!!!

Bright side to every story! I need to change my pinion seals myself, as well as fix my oil leak, maybe my winch motor will be magically fixed too so I can finally put it on lol.

Like I didn't have enough on my plate lately, I received a jury duty notice for this week. I am relieved to know that I have fulfilled my duty WITHOUT having to show up.

I usually need to come just short of hollering GUILTY in the courtroom to be let go!

I guess I'm the oddball here then. I don't have a problem with jury duty. Although they never pick me. I'm looking to lock somebody up for a while. We'll just call it payback. Lol. Besides, it gets me out of work for a day or two.

Dang Bernie..with the last month you've had, it's a test. Stay strong my friend. Tomorrow is almost here. The rocks are patiently waiting for us.

Haha...with my luck I would be made an example of for doing that.

I usually play off the fact that I have family and several friend that are police officers. Last time I went in, on the third day, I asked to speak with the judge to let her know that I am NOT the kind of juror you may be looking for on this murder case. After talking to me they were happy to let me go!! The guy looked guilty, if not of that crime I was sure he was guilty of other crimes.

You & V are just the cutest couple I've met in ages. And to think you're still this way after 27 years, seriously gives me hope for a better future myself. Can't wait to see you guys in HV.

So my mechanic wants the Jeep next Monday to replace at least the axle bearing and seal, if not the whole shaft. Thank God for extended warranties. Lol. I just hope they don't need it for two weeks like last time.

If they take longer than a day then they aren't doing their jobs very well...

Are you new here? Lol. 2005 LJ parts are usually a back order item. The work itself goes quickly enough, it's getting the parts from Mopar that sucks. Lol. Last time, it was 11 days from Minnesota for a carrier, ring and pinion, and spider gears. As long as it's done by the 19th I'll be happy. They'll even put me in a fuel efficient rental. Lol

You know, I completely forgot about the whole having to order parts thing lol. I guess I take having access to a surplus of spare parts for granted, my bad.

Won't know for sure until we open it up, but the axle is leaking at the rotor, so we're thinking shaft seal. Doesn't matter, it's all under warranty. Goes in Monday.

So every time I talk to a land rover owner, I throw up in my mouth a little. How dare they come to a Jeep dealer and try to tell me how much better their vehicle is at off roading than a Rubicon is. Hello???? 4x4 of the Decade!!! I try to show them why the Jeep is better, but no, they just want to argue. I swear to God, the next one I see stuck on a rock is staying there. Let another rover save their ass. GRRR!!!!!!

I was trying to sell a Rubicon to his buddy, who already owns a YJ, and knows better. But I really wanted to choke that rover owner into a coma. Lol.

And yeah, actually tripped two today. WooHoo!!!

And oh yeah, MILLER!!!! And all the surrounding countryside. Whoop Whoop!!!
