Some of you have been wondering where I’ve been. It appears I have ruptured a disk in my back. I should be hearing from a Neurosurgeon today. Looks like I won't be able to do anything but have back surgury at this point. It’s affected my entire left side of my body; which is numb. My chiropractor told me he’s never seen a rupture this bad. Just my luck right? I never do anything half mass! :nonono:

For all of you who know me, you know I WILL BE DYING not being able to wheel for a while. Just got my Rock Hard sliders put on too! Tummy tuck and steering box skid are going on Saturday. I’m totally bummed about this, but I will be living vicariously through you all. As soon as I am able, I’ll be back on the trails. This will be just a little set back.

Go on lots of runs and post up pics! I want to see all the fun and silly times you guys are having! I will be there in spirit!

I hope the weather is nice, at least clear to enjoy the view.

We took Caleb up to Pine Mountain for his first trip in the snow today, we had so much fun. It was only 31 and snowing, we were dressed for it and had a nice warm electric blanket in the Jeep for the ride home :)

If ya want Parker, you guys can come over to my pad and we can go meet them together..

And I'm praying the sun God will be good to us that weekend. At least 65-70's. Lisa- for you, Pine Mtn like an hour- hour and a half for you?

Oh hell, your directionally challenged too?? We better never be left alone to find our way anywhere or we're screwed  I went for a run at a friends house in Poway last year, I was gone 3 hours. Mike, Clint and Debbie were cruising the neighborhood looking for me........I was one block away, Lol. Just kept turning the the wrong way

Mike bought me a Garmin forerunner and won't let me leave home without it :whistling: I have navigation in my car and the Jeep, problem is I don't really believe them. I think they lie to me to make me use more fuel or something

Lost in the Jeep while wheeling isn't really lost, it's more like exploring :) Lost while on a run is well.......pathetic, LOL

Funny thing is my trainer was at a wedding in Oklahoma, went for a run and got lost. Haha, he was 40 min. late to the wedding after finally using his phone and finding his way back to the hotel.

It happens to the best of us :D

That's so true! It's funny..I can easliy get to the hardest stuff but when it comes to doing the easier trails out there, I get all turned around and lost sometimes.

Hope everybody had an awesome New Years. I'm looking at my Jeep this morning, and I've got clean up. We hit snow on the trails and they actually closed Vics Cat Trail because of it. I made snow angels :D But with snow, you have some wet dirt underneath. Time for a bath now.

Both!

I actually got my hands on a digital and took pics, but can't get them to download right now. Scottie and I had a blast! We wheeled all day and didn't leave until after dark. Even though it was all easy stuff, it felt so good to be back in the jeep and on dirt.

BBQ is a party! Good news- No rain! :) And probably around 60. It shows sunny, so maybe it'll inch up to mid 60's. Bring warm clothes..gets a little chilly on the beach after the sun goes down. I need to grab some wood sometime this week..if everyone can bring a little, we'll be set!

Lori, are you camping out for the night there? I'm considering staying Sat. night if I don't have Caleb. I can just sleep in my Jeep and Leo will keep me warm, he's camped out with me plenty.

I hadn't really decided..Depended on how much I drank, how cold it was and who else was planning on it besides Bernie and Vanessa. There's technically no tent camping so when the rangers come, we need to tell him we use the RV's facilities. There's out houses at the entrance but we're going to be at the end sites. I see tents next to RV's all the time, so it's not a problem as far as I know. They just dont want you going potty wherever you want..understandably :)
