Some of you have been wondering where I’ve been. It appears I have ruptured a disk in my back. I should be hearing from a Neurosurgeon today. Looks like I won't be able to do anything but have back surgury at this point. It’s affected my entire left side of my body; which is numb. My chiropractor told me he’s never seen a rupture this bad. Just my luck right? I never do anything half mass! :nonono:

For all of you who know me, you know I WILL BE DYING not being able to wheel for a while. Just got my Rock Hard sliders put on too! Tummy tuck and steering box skid are going on Saturday. I’m totally bummed about this, but I will be living vicariously through you all. As soon as I am able, I’ll be back on the trails. This will be just a little set back.

Go on lots of runs and post up pics! I want to see all the fun and silly times you guys are having! I will be there in spirit!

It was a GREAT Weekend! Thank you to EVERYONE who made it out! I know Jess really appreciated it, as did I! We have such a great wheeling family!

And a special THANK YOU to Lorie for organizing that for us! :flowers: We Love you girl!

And Stan, Thank you for leading us on Saturday. Sorry we missed you for saying good bye, but it was nice meeting you finally, and look forward to running with you again.

Brandon and Savannah, I hope you made it home okay and with not to much difficulty. It's always good to see you out there with us.

Big Bear was a blast and I cant wait to do it again! Thanks again for making it out EVERYONE!

Great times with friends...

Vanessa and I had a great time with all of you, I wish we could have been there for the Saturday run. Same as with the Dishpan run but we were so tired by Sunday afternoon, we just needed to go home and rest.

There was a little more carnage than Brett's power steering--I will need new fenders soon. I was not on my game Friday!

Rock vs. sheet metal ... it's like taking a butter knife to a gunfight. LOL

And Lorie we agree, we need to go back soon. This weekend was a LOT of fun.

Thanks to all that helped to make it so much fun. :wavey::thumb:

Oh man, how could I have forgotten your driver fender...we should have gotten a pic of that one....that one was at the top of the list as far as fender carnage :thumb: Dang things get in the way don't they?!!
Let's do an August BB trip ;)

I miss you guys already...My first day of work went extremely well though. They've already bumped my hours up by 15+ a week! Not to mention any Jeep that comes into the shop is automatically mine to work on. The techs will also be calling on me for help with electrical work, I'll be moving up in no time!

So far, looks like my annual clean up run is just me and Ron.. Maybe Sky. I told Ron, if it's just us, let's blow it off and hit Bear instead. :)

I'll be bummed if nobody wants to participate, but it'll be a win win for us. We'll still be wheeling and camping... In luxury now too, I might add. :p

Yep all true. PLUS he will be whole again. The doctors originally saved his legs and feet but one foot was nothing but problems and pain for him. Eventually he just asked them to cut it off. Once they did he was a LOT happier.

Sucks to have to say good bye but we are lucky we actually get to say good bye if you know what I mean.

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

Thanks guys.

HEY! Happy Fourth of July everyone!

I finally got some parts I have been waiting for so I will be working on my Bug this morning and then this afternoon we are headed to the in-laws to cool off in the pool and have a BBQ. What is everyone else up to?

Had a great time at BB last weekend, but now, I'm in the pharmacy waiting for antibiotics to treat a sinus infection. I really don't understand how you folks can ride breathing all that dust and pollen and not have an adverse reaction.

I would love to ride like some of you guys do and feel the freedom of being topless and doorless, but I pay a price for that.

Between my sinuses and an unhappy wife, I tell you it's just not worth it.

I am jealous of those of you that can do that!

 Sorry to hear that Bernie. I absolutely HATE having my side windows on. I don't really like the rear window in either but poor Dave is COVERED in dust if we leave it off. I do like my top on though as I am not a fan of the sun beating down on my bald noggin.

I've never had a sinus infection but a couple of years ago I went dirt bike riding and came home with an eye infection. Went to my doctor and he immediately referred me to the ophthalmologist - as in leave here do not go home go directly to this dr they are waiting for you.

I got to that dr and they looked at my eyes. Said they need to put a couple of drops in that I might feel. LIAR! Might as well have jammed a red hot wire coat hanger into my eyes. Holy crap did those drops burn.

Then they gave me some non-burning eyedrops for the next couple of weeks and it cleared right up.

Good luck my friend.
